We take a break from Halloween decorations and DIY prop making to have a fun filled father & son family zoo day field trip at the Los Angeles Zoo. The LA Zoo is located in griffith park near the old abandoned haunted Los Angeles Zoo except instead of picnic areas they have animals. We really enjoyed this amazing trip to the L.A. Zoo to look at all the zoo animals in their exhibits, eat sweet treats, exercise and explore. I was able to get my steps in hiking around the large 133 arce park but because many of the animals are resting during the summer day I was more relaxed than exerted. This zoo\conservation is a great place to take your family every once in a while make memories and learn some facts about the wildlife.

Yes John we do have several videos we have been able to unearthed. Its mostly haunt walkthroughs and I will keep working on them to finally get them out thanks man

Harrison is adorable
that okapi was thought to be extinct by the scientific community, but the local natives kept telling the "learned ones" they were alive and thriving. I think it hasn't been too very long ago that the scientific community caught up with the natives and figured out the okapi was alive and thriving. thank you for taking me along to the LA Zoo. I've never been, and doubt i will ever go. Fun day! God bless

The ice cream was my favorite part followed by the gorillas. Such a fun trip, thanks for bringing us along.

So so true, going to this zoo really ends up being a more interesting place to go for a walk than our neighborhood but you have to be ok with many of the critters always sleeping or hiding. Its fun to do every once in awhile but not as good as the wilderness for sure.

Ya I ended up throwing a couple out there. That was me attempting to entertain ourselves even though half the animals were snoozing or to far away for the camera to pick up. 🤣
