I do wanna mention that I did contact wired about the controller issues and they were quick to send me a new one. I just haven’t had the time to install it

Little update I replaced the controller and it seems to be doing the trick. I have the bike at max power and have ridden it 40 miles with no shut off👏🏼⚡️

The new GOT took so long to come out I forgot what was happening 😆 Keep us updated if changing the controller fixes your issue. Get some rear view mirrors bro. Much easier to bust around busy roads. Thanks for the content. My new freedom is in the mail. Upgraded from a Ride1Up cafe cruiser. Should be awesome.

The newest bike comes with a 45amp controller, it seems that the company is addressing the issue. Ordered mine on may4th, should be shipping from LA any day now, i cant wait!

Somebody is gonna open their door one day and collect you. Stay in the middle of the lane its a shared lane. Stay away from those parked cars.

Don't see others having this issue, was there any modifications done on your bike. I have no issues in long rides in full power.

about the overheating, is that the version before the potted controller and rear battery option? 20a or 40a controller?

Also no it only had the battery in the bottom tube not in the rear

It is the version with the potted controller. The issue is they cheap out and make their controllers out of plastic. Plastic holds heat. Their controller box is also too small which doesn’t allow heat to escape. Awful design.

What good is a bike if it shuts down because it overheats. The owners of Wired e-bikes do not know what they are doing. They say so on their web site. Why would anybody buy a bike from these guys. And weak warrantees. Buyer Beware!!!
