I had never had a chance to understand what's standing beyond intellectual, religious, psychological, and scientific notions before meeting Khurram Ellahi. Someone who changed my perspectives with the revival of sada e kun faya kun beyond the logical faculties of the mind.

An inspirational intellectual who speaks both the language of the mind and heart!. Congratulations to TED talk for inviting such an intellectual speaker to talk about Iqbal - the genius who brings us a world of multiverses!. We are loosing our hero every minute with each passing day so let's let such inspirational talk shake our paradigme so that we wake up before it's too late! The speaker Khurram Ellahi also mentions in his book " Mankind Encountering Angels in poetry of Iqbal" that " Man has given colours to the canvas of existence. Man can't fly but certainly his ideas can. Man has limits but his ideas are boundless. Man has boundaries but his passion can take him to skies". He mentiones beautifully in the talk that " Wonder ko wonder main khatam hona chaiye - without intellectual consequences!. We forget this in our hectic fast-paced life! So yes - as he says " let's unfold the endless horizons of the inner universe and the universe outside us while we live this " Zindagi"! Thank you for sharing.

The day when we have Mr Khurram talk abt Rabidranath Tagore(as an eg)in the same scholarly vein, only then we can be certain that we have really conquered the very superficial nationalistic sentiments permanently residing within us.Only then would OUR children worldwide be blessed with real knowledge and a bit of 'sukoon'(urdu) abt all their future endeavours in the world. And they will also gauge their chances of meeting some people of such type somewhere, someplace, someday. That improves their daily existential quality.

Quoting from pg 90 of Goethe's Sorrows of Young Werter “And when Ulysses talks of the immeasurable sea, and the unlimited earth, is it not more natural, more true, more according to our feelings, than when, in this philosophic age, every school-boy thinks himself a prodigy, because he can repeat with his master that the earth is round?”
