FYI It's not just a storm, it's a tropical cyclone that hit Hoi An like 1 or 2 days later. It caused flooding and power shortage in the whole town, so you guys were lucky to have left the town in time. By the way, what a great adventure you're having ^^

We were very sad to hear about the wreckage from storm Noru 🥲 We honestly couldn’t believe the pictures we saw and how high the water levels were. We are certainly thinking about them as they recover from this 🇻🇳💛

I loved LoVeD LOVED!! the little old lady that paddled the basket boat. She was too freakin' adorable and had to be like 70 years old but had all that energy and was just so much fun to watch! So freakin' cute!

Yeah, chopsticks are best for picking up noodles and veggies, small grains rice is not easy, that s why when eating rice, they bring the whole rice bowl close to the mouth, or pick up by spoon/folks.

Tip for crossing street in Vietnam: Many tourist foreigners scared of traffic in VN . Don’t worry about it! The rule to win this fear is keep routin slowly walking when you across the streams of motobike! motor-bykers knows how to avoid you themself in chaos-order! remmember do not runs and stop suddently , accident immidiatly ! Don’t be affraid off and do it if you want to be safety in the crazy- traffic in Vietnam.

You can buy sim card 4G at airport about 10 usd. , and at hotel or coffee shop have fee wifi with hight speed internet

as you prob know, mango cakes don't actually contain mango! It's made with sticky rice, chopped peanuts, desiccated coconut, and sugar.

Thank you so much 😀 This is a great question. We think overall, they did a good job, but one thing we found out by doing this is that fabrics feel a lot different with your hands (when you are picking it out) then when you try it on (end result). In our case, even though Alicia didn't like the fabric of the pants that were made, we still had to buy them. In order to get a pair of pants with a fabric she liked, we would have had to buy a second pair of pants. We didn't do this because there was no guarantee she would like the second pair when she tried them on. There are tailors, however, that will change out the fabric even after the pants are made so you walk away with one pair of pants that you like. These tailors cost a bit more, but if we were to do it again, that is the route we would go. We hope that makes sense and helps 😀
