Exploring Dubai Souks and Logs and Embers Restaurant Palm Jumeirah
Welcome to Day 2 where we visit the Dubai Souks in Deira and Bur Dubai.
Dubai’s souks are legendary, we take some time to wander around these traditional Arab markets, soaking up the atmosphere and picking up a few bargains!
We start off in the covered alleyways of the Textile Souk. We then catch an abra (water taxi) for the short ride to the opposite bank in Deira where we find the Gold Souk, Spice Souk and Perfume Souk all within walking distance.
Hungry, we then head on for Sunday lunch. Nestled on the breathtaking shores of Palm Jumeirah, Log & Embers is a family friendly beach restaurant with panoramic views of the city skyline and the serene beach.
The kids play and we relax and watch the sunset before taking Esme for a late evening swim before bed!
