Seeing how nice these people are really gives me warmth and a nice break from the savagery of people on the internet

I camped out for the opening of the RINO Arc Store! Got a sweet care package for capming out, I also picked up two pairs of XT-6 from Steadbrook last month, such a chill vibe in the shop every time I go. Great vid man, cool to hear you're from Denver! The fashion scene in Denver is picking up pace for sure!

Drew, just wanna say I really appreciate these types of videos! So often you'll see content creators just go 'here's some clothes that I bought' and leave it at that. You rarely get to see the subtleties behind the process or the journey that went into the decision so all sense of the meaning behind it gets lost, and that's a very important and often overlooked aspect of style I think. There's always a story or some kind of anecdote behind your pieces, not that there always needs to be, but as someone who is trying to curate their own sense of style this is really helpful and sets your content apart. We even get to see that the journey doesn't always end after you've bought an item of clothing - there's always ways to make it fit you even better (both physically and in terms of your aesthetic) with things like tailoring. I loved when you talked about adding a few more belt loops to your jeans. Such a seemingly small detail that goes a long way to realising what you want out of an item of clothing. It's so great to see someone go out there and physically explore and curate their own sense of style whilst supporting local businesses as well!

Loved what Denver is doing right now! ESPECIALLY Green Spaces, id love that concept in my town! About the denim. I think its telling when you have something you love in fashion that youd rather customise it instead of throwing it away (recycling i hope) or returning it. It forges a deeper connection to fashion and sustainability. 🔥 Wide angle lens goes crazy! Cant wait to see it used on the vlogs. 🙌🏾✨️✨️

These explorations of Denver are fantastic. I'm from Denver, lived in NYC for a long time experiencing the fashion scene there and now I'm back and looking for places to shop. Appreciate the recommendations!

Regarding the tailoring of those few pairs of jeans, at our place we lean more towards the old fashioned machine, chain stitch. Of course, most people also go to ordinary tailors for alterations, which is really nothing.

It's so cool to see you find out about Perks and Mini. They're an Australian label thats been around since the 2000s, and I personally love their style, especially their more recent collections. I've had a few of their pieces over the years and they're always a pleasure to wear. They did a collab with puma recently and the puma x pam "nano" they came out with is one of my favourite shoes of the last while.

So cool seeing you walk by all the spots I frequent - hoping I bump into you some time!

Steadbrook is my favorite! They always have such interesting pieces. I had the fortune of meeting you there a few months ago where you recommended me an hombre knit by ERL.

Those raw pairs are crazy! If you haven’t checked out the recent Orslow navy utility denim one wash, definitely do! The fit and quality are amazing and lightweight enough for summer too

I’ve been into Japanese fashion and denim for a long time and he did the mistake a lot of us do when first getting into it, don’t buy multiple pairs at the same time. You end up with a bunch of pants that are all basically the same. Also be mindful of how you want your jeans to become. Do you want heavy fading and whiskering? Or a more uniform dye across the fabric? Just don’t rush building your collection, it’s just going to keep your items as all being grails.

I grew up in Denver but I've lived in San Francisco all my adult life. I left Denver wanting more bc I'm half Asian. That said, I do love good design, love Japanese fashion which I think would work well in Denver i.e. workwear, Junya, Engineer Garments etc. I wore all Yohji Yamamoto to the ShockWave exhibition at DAM which fun.

The food part was so funny idk why but i can relate so hard 😂❤

Yo you do what you want in your raw selvedge denim journey but I think some flaw in the fits makes something special in the fading process of the jeans and add a lots of characters of the end result 2:31 . For someone who makes this type of product I think it’s a plus in the aging process… maybe some flaws will become something you will like because it will take part of your process. Anyway really nice from you to put these products in the front of the scene I think they worth a lot more attention. Thank you for the beautiful content

Whenever I go to denver I have to stop into steadbrook. Last time I was high out my gourd and talking to the dudes there for like 2 hours, as a complete stranger lol. Unfortunately most of the things I was in love with were well out my price range, but I will continue going there just for the vibe.

Anyways, I'm from London, livin in Korea and i found your channel last year. You definitely made me want to visit Denver. I think anyone who can showcase a love for their city as well as the people (i know its primarily fashion/vintage vendors) is doing a service. That's why they recognised you. You're super chill and enthusiastic and positive in a time where there's a lot of negativity.

Bro I am trying to cop those Grunt boots on Saturday but the sizing info is so unhelpful so far lol. They say take true EU size but I don't know my true EU. How do you think they fit compared to your sneaker size? #pvv pancakes are my Saturday morning cheat meal so I gotta go with that. maybe it's just me but I feel like it's easy to get good pancakes any time, and it's very satisfying to have a stack of pancakes on my plate. I get a batch of 6 from my recipe and I stack em high. update: had pancakes for breakfast and boots secured, hopefully the sizing is right.

#pvv When I was eating meat before whenever I would travel to America I would get the classic chicken and waffle. Now I still prefer Waffles to pancakes but living in Montreal, a Crêpe. That is the goated food for not just breakfast but for any meal

I have two jeans from them, no waist shrinkage. They might shrink a little bit in inseam though after the first few washes but looks like Drew had some margin there.
