Exploring Country Roads & Farmland with Me (Non-ASMR Ramble)

Hi friends!
This was a spontaneous video that I made for you this morning on my walk.
In it, I show you all sorts of trees and plants and tell you about some of their medicinal uses, and I just talk...a lot!
I hope you enjoy it. It is not ASMR, but I think if you listen to it while trying to take a nap or go to sleep tonight, you will enjoy it. Just turn the sound down because after about 30 minutes, my voice gets louder.
Thanks for being part of this community!
I appreciate all of you!
xoxo,
Lindy

What a lovely reminder to revel in the beauty that surrounds us every day. It’s great to travel far and wide, but there’s beauty right on our doorstep if we don’t take it for granted. Your knowledge of flora and fauna was truly impressive for this city boy! And as for ASMR, this was what I call “accidental ASMR.” The best ASMR isn’t whispering, tapping and making weird noises; rather, it’s simply an absorbing, well-told story. Even when the mower was going, that was just a white noise accompaniment to the walk. My only regret was that you didn’t plop down in one of those “lookout chairs,” and give us a selfie moment or two. 😊-Jeff

Oh I just loved this walk! So satisfying to see and hear all the beauty nature has to offer and I just love hearing all about the area you live in! Would definitely love more like this. As always, thank you for such a wonderful video! P. S. I used to gobble up the honeysuckle at my dear Nana's when I was a kid, made that bush bare most summers! I also make my own elderberry syrup - been doing it for years and I swear by it whenever any kind of sickness comes creeping in on us!

Oh my Lindy!!!so so beautiful!! Sign me up is there any available homes in the town not with big farms for sale??? That was the most beautiful walk you took today. I definitely would be motivated to walk every single morning if I lived in such beautiful surroundings. I must say I learned so much from your walk. Most of things I never saw up in my area. Simply stunning beautiful and Peaceful. One of the things you said was about not being able to smell as good after Covid 19. I also had Covid 2x go figure lol…as I was saying in your other video I can’t smell my perfume as well anymore like I did before, the other thing I wonder if this whole issue I’m having is it Long term COVID-19 effects or maybe from vaccination gave us. When I signed the paperwork for the vaccine I thought to myself do I really want do this…but I did and look how much it worked. I got Covid two times as well. And I was fanatical basically I didn’t leave the house I was so fearful of getting it and of course I got it. Somebody brought it into the house. I Still wear a mask today. I never want to get Covid again I’m so scared after that experience. I don’t know how yours was but mine is something I never want again. I don’t know if you got the vaccine, but I wondered if that vaccine is still in our cells in our body. And if there is a way to get it out of your body?? Oh before I forget what was the name of the town that’s nearby that you said the Walmart was in and it’s probably more populated and has homes that don’t come with large farmland there is probably not a lot for sale in area I would imagine because people probably have been there for many years, but I definitely could not handle for sure, any type of property with more than and acre of ground that would be just enough even though I would not be living alone. I would love just to walk around and look at everybody else’s farms. I have to say that was one of the most peaceful videos I’ve ever watched on KZread. You’re a great teacher for sure. I think I learned more about tree and vegetation than I ever learned in school. Your patience is exemplary. I was totally listening to everything that you were saying and learning quite a bit very educational. Thank you so much. It made my day. I so appreciate it. Thank you for all you do on your channel. You can tell you really love what you do.❤❤ Love from the garden state of NJ. Esme’🌻💛 Ps. Can you recommend a book on natural healing with food and how to make your own natural medicines from plants. And using essential oils for natural healing and healing. I am definitely going to go that route from now. I agree with you these pharmaceutical companies don’t want you to take something natural. They try to make you think it’s bad for you. The pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is a huge business that I’d like to get out of and not take anything unless absolutely necessary. I hope you have a beautiful day and glad you are getting more free time😊❤. I know how it is to help a husband in business. I did the same as well. They grow a lot of hydrangeas in New Jersey they have very sandy soil here so maybe when planting your hydrangeas you could find some sand from a local beach and add it to the soil. Say that’s supposed to make the colors more vibrant the Sandy soil if you can get some sand from the shore that makes the color more vibrant at least that’s what they say here in New Jersey, but who am I am definitely not a Horticulturist. For sure. I had to hire one to take care of my landscaping when I had my house of course in a condo they take care of it for you. You can plant your own flowers, that’s a plus.😊 Enjoy your free time you deserve it. My you have been so busy last month probably or more. Take good care of yourself.🎉🌺💛 ok 👍

Hi Esme! Always great to hear from you. Locust is the name of the larger town near us, and there are lots of houses for sale around here now, that do not belong to big farms. Glad you enjoyed the video! Regarding Covid; We were outliers in that we were never really scared, and we did not get the shots. Dr. Robert Morse has a great book called The Detox Miracle Sourcebook. Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon is also a good nutritional guide book. My favorite herbalist books are by the Herbalist, Rosemary Gladstar. Thanks for the tips about the sand around the Hydrangeas! I will try it. Take care my friend! xoxo
