I remember walking into Chatsworth from the bus stop. All the sheep were around me on the rolling hills. When leaving, saw the sheep again. All of a sudden, they all started to form single file lines and walk towards the house. No sound had been played, they all did it at the same time. Next time visited, asked about it. Workman told me that the sheep know when it is time to go back home. Amazing.

Thanks once again for another banging look at a beautiful house and estate. You really do look at everything and this time pointed out things I would have missed. Great job, well done.

One can only imagine the wealth and power, to be able to not only construct but to fully furnish a place such as this , I'm almost jealous.

Yeah, top of the line this place. Like Blenheim, Castle Howard etc. Some of them (Blenheim) are almost too big though and totally lose any homely feel. That's what I thought when I visited several years ago anyway. I might give it another go in the future and see if my thoughts change about it. On the other hand I really enjoyed Castle Howard. Big fan of that place. Adam :)

@@AdamExploresBritain Very good observation Adam, I fully agree with you, Blenheim is not a grand house like Chatsworth or Kedleston but a palace, that is why there is no homely feeling about it. In fact Blenheim´s full name is Blenheim Palace.
