    Hey, I hope you are well! I just turned 20 actually, I shot a video today dedicated to your question. Talking about my own experience but some of my friends were kind enough to share their experiences with me too. Hello, your video is so cool, I would like to know if at the university everyone speak english or if some teacher speak french ( I'm french and my english is not very good). Bye

  • @philippklein1

    Hey, all the classes are held in English. Most teachers do speak french - so after class or in breaks a lot of classmates go to the teacher and talk to them in french. In my department - I can't tell you how it is in the other faculties - You always have the option to submit assignments both in french or english

    Hey, Ahmed, how are you doing? I’m studying in Montreal and the tuition costs vary depending on which faculty you are studying in. www.concordia.ca/students/financial-support/costs.html www.concordia.ca/admissions/tuition-fees/how-fees-are-billed/undergraduate/fees.html This might give you a rough idea. The acceptance rate varies significantly between programs. I would just google concordia university montreal acceptance rate + name of your program Hope this helps

    Hey! I'm planning to participate in this university but through a scholarship, do you know anyone there who got one what was their English proof ?

  • @philippklein1

    @philippklein1

    I don't know of anyone specifically, the main determinant seems to be the financial need rather than the english proficiency (beyond the general requirements to attend the University as an international student)

    What is the reason studying in Canada , in university ranked top 500, while u have univ top 100 in ur motherland

    Good question! The society and the way of life over here are way different. It's harsher and rawer, but also more open for innovation, free-thinking etc. All those things create an environment that forces you to grow on a personal level much more so than the society in Europe does. In addition to that, the network around film and the creeative industry you get offered in Montreal is hard to find anywhere in Europe. I hope this answeres your question.

    It's comparatively cheap for a big North-American city. Food is really not that bad, rent neither, I feel like books and games are pretty expensiveXD

    Hey yes it is indeed! There are a couple of reasons, I might actually dedicate one video to the topic. The most important ones are: I want to work in the Film and Entertainment industry. The opportunities and possibilities here are much greater than the ones Germany could offer. The second one: Your environment shapes you, so I always try to position myself in the best environment possible for my practices. I feel more vital, inspired and happy here in Canada:)
