    You want to study dont study in qc Qc is really strict about there language laws Mghilll will see massive tuition drop from out of town students . Do to the o my French laws crap ……. In all there public schools there are mostly Arabic people .. Qc loses people to other provinces each year.. if other provinces made people to speak a certain language only they would be so called racist.. so way is Qc allowed to do this Qc only 😳. If you are coming to study in Canada don’t study in Qc

    I agree that the laws certainly don’t make the province more attractive to international and out of province students. Let’s see how the recent policy changes will effect applications

    hey, I'm looking to apply for either Cell and Molecular Biology or just Biology at Concordia for the coming fall semester of 2024. I'm international and I hope to apply to the university but I would need residence for the first year. Could you give me some tips to build my application and tell me about the quality of the science program? Also, is there a housing crisis or is it easier to get into residence and mingle with people as an international student?

    Hey, the demand for appartments is very high, esp for students, however, Montreal Is stil significantly lower than Toronto or Vancouver. With regards to the science program, what I have heard, it’s very good, but in terms of prestige, if the name is going to be important for your career, I would recommend you to apply to McGill

    what is the visa acceptance rate of concordia university

  • @philippklein1
    @philippklein18 ай бұрын

    I’m not sure I understand the question correctly. Concordia doesn’t have a specific rate of international students that they accept for each program, the criteria of each major differ and don’t really take your origin into consideration. And with regards to the visa, as soon as you get your acceptance from Concordia, you apply to your visa in a separate process overseen by the government

  • @philippklein1
    @philippklein19 ай бұрын

    The equipment and quality of the camera really don’t matter. I’d embrace the lower quality and make it part of the narrative. Come up with a justification within your story for why the footage looks the way it does, or just assume it is supposed to look like it does. The most important thing for you to get in is to illustrate the ability to explore a subject visually and to create relatable characters. Focus on those two things and you will be fine;)

    I love your videos. I have 2 questions after watching. Is it possible for film students to receive any kind of support from Concordia for their school (or even individual) projects? Do you have many chances to collaborate with students from other departments in making your projects? As you mentioned the fast pace as well as the stressful schedule, I'm afraid networking might be a challenge?...

  • @philippklein1
    @philippklein1 Жыл бұрын

    Hey Linh, thanks for your comment! In terms of support, there is nothing to expect from Uni, quite the opposite, they expect you to finance everything related to your project out of your own pocket. In terms of collaborations, Concordia is a great place. The other fine arts programs are pretty good too, so by simply reaching out or making friends on campus you should have an easy time getting in touch with other students. Most of us are looking for projects and connections so that's one of the most amazing things about Film School. For me the schedule is tight because I include so many projects and networking opportunities. The purely academic and school related work if you are only in film production wont overwhelm you. Let me know if this answers your question or if there is anything else I can help you with!

    Hey, the program is very good for people looking to get first experiences and those interested into the more creative and artsy side of film. I made a video about the film program that is a little bit more comprehensive (). In terms of creating art, most students in the Production program are very active and making a lot of movies, the atmosphere in and outside of school is very hands on which is nice. I found that there are way more opportunities to work on sets than there is time, generally speaking it's students sets but with a little bit of effort it is not too difficult to get on professional sets either.
