Yes, wealth is relative. You don't have to be a millionaire or billionaire to be privileged. Class is much more than money - though I suppose their point is that billionaires can buy their way in to the "upper classes". Still, there are many people who I would consider upper class that aren't that well off simply because of their lineage or property, regardless of the amount of debt they're in. This show does not address that.

Since it is all about wealth in the first place I would have to say the answer is yes. Some of the money is old money but look at how that was earned. Nothing worse than what was done to earn the old money. Conquer and make the people surfs, enslave others on plantations, colonize other countries and drain away their wealth.

English class isn't necessarily about all these things. In many ways it is but the real essence is that the English came from Denmark so you have to start there. England was founded by Jutes and Angles were the largest group, hence the country being named after them. Frisians and Saxons joined in later. A lot of what you see in this video is more about people compensating by going bigger. Many others in England don't do that and you want see them in these videos. These tend to be the Anglo-Scandinavian heritage people. They often have the best tastes and styles in everything and that includes some minimalism. Most are of Danish heritage but some are Norwegian and you can see the overlap when you visit those countries. Success is judged a bit differently for them than how these many 'strivers' in these videos approach life.

I absolutely Love this Pomp & Circumstance look In to the obscene wealth indulgences, the Estates and the Fashion necessary to breathe the same air... This has brought my Heart much Joy to see a new generation of wealthy education, and the actual costs of what one must have to be gossiped about... and one knows New Money will not really be accepted by Old Money - there will always be these hurdles to leap over, course after course, and if you are not able to attend every event of The Season every year for many years, and with each event having a different exclusive outfit.... Well then Forget About It... and you thought 'Haters' on Social Media Platforms are vicious. I come from aristocratic lineage, by the time I was born we ( Great Grandparents to be exact ) had exiled from Revolution with the thought that after 'the people' had 'settled down' they could then return...HuH!... they were what they were and I am able to carry Title when using the family name, however there's no money here, and I can not see any way of rekindling their bygone and Beautifully lavish lifestyle for myself... I do have a wonderfully grand bloodline story inherent within me, and that brings me heartfelt joy... and much joy too from not having a need to stress about 'going all-out to impress' anyone I may or may not like just to endure outdated rigours of the 'High Societal Norms' - even though I do feel emotions to my core as I watch this... with a smile on my face all the while. Thank You @absolutedocumentaries for a snippet of a glance, and the laughter from the presenters enjoyment of it all.

Don’t forget that if it weren’t for the American ‘million dollar princesses’ from the Victorian times, a lot of these ‘aristocrats’ wouldn’t be. As well, Dukes such as the Duke of Westminster come from business men years ago who slowly ranked up due to money.

Money gains you access into most of what's available on the planet, but relationships are fostered, and titles ought to be still granted. The way I would pay for a yacht would be to purchase more than one, and operate a charter service for them, but I'm not interested in sharing my house with the public. I think there are other ways you can make money from an estate, and if you aren't making money on the water, it's flowing down the drain. When estates function as supplemental power plants, electric flying vehicles will be the way people avoid traffic congestion.

Big differences come with not abiding and questioning the Dress Regs. dictate.

It seems that being rich in Britain and being rich the US is like day and night. British people care so much about looking always like royals, princes, queens etc. Their lives, cars, homes seems kind of boring, dated and pretentious. It's 2023 and they seem like they're living in the 1800's.
