There’s another Sugarloaf Mountain in west central Arkansas near the Oklahoma border in southern Sebastian County. The Arkansas side is 2100ft and the Oklahoma side is 2500ft. Another overlooked mountain is The Poteau Mountain Ridge that runs from Waldron, Arkansas to Heavener, Oklahoma. Poteau Mountain rises 2665ft above sea level near Hartford, Arkansas. Poteau Mountain is the Northwest edge of the Ouachita Mountains and National Forest.

I have been to Arkansas 2 or 3 times for brief (weekend) visits. I only saw the northwest corner of the state, but would love to spend a week seeing more of the state. It's gorgeous.

OMG, the man introducing this program looked like the quintessential Arkansan me. I lived in Winslow pop 183many years ago. Way out in the boonies. Happiest time of my life.

It would be nice to have a simulated flyover over Arkansas Soarin type ride in tourist spots like Hot Springs.

This was very well done, except for one huge flaw. How can you make a video like this but not include Mammoth Spring? Mammoth Spring is absolutely incredible, especially in Springtime.

I've explored Arkansas previously. With their own National Speleological Society members. Below the surface. I choose to go where no other person or construct has gone before. Which is why we members obtain assistance from NASA. Because we discover things never previously encountered by our species. Please wait for NASA to afford equal appreciation about activity done in Arkansas not done by my choice of Society. So, where is it that needs your poke?
