Good stuff Dan, gotta love this system hey, amazing how it clears up right after the rains when most remain chocolate coloured. Great looking fish too, super healthy! 💪🏼💪🏼

How does your set up change (reel, line, leader etc) differ from your Bass to Jack fishing?

I tend to go a bit lighter for bass. Generally run a 10-15lb braid mainline with 15-20lb leader for bass. Whilst jacks I generally don’t go any lighter than 20lb. I’ve been running 30lb for jacks the last year and still get smoked! If I throw swimbaits for bass, it’s generally with my jack gear (30lb braid and leader) mainly to have insurance on the lure and not fling it off! Hope that helps

North pine dam is a stocked impoundment and there's been plenty of rain recently if that gives you some direction.

Yea as stated in the reply, the dams usually do well ;) and the creeks surrounding I don’t fish out towards that way too often, but plenty of bass country!

It was tagged originally in 2020 at 22.5cm So it grew over 10cm in 3 years and travelled over 30ks from the original tag location!
