i dont blame him, same thing happened to me first time EVER rolling percentile dice. rolled a 00. was like. wow. thats awful! then rolled another 0 and was visibly crestfallen because it was such an important roll and only then did the DM tell me it was actually 100

@@syra1541 yep, the 00 is the tens place. so 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 00 ten sided dice then the other 10 sided is 0-9. so for example a 90 and a 2 is 92%. a 00 5 is 5%. but. a 00 + 0 is a 100%

Damien is so good as a DM. Fairly generous to the players without it being overbearing and always giving them their chances to shine. Really skilled at adapting to unexpected situations on the fly. Great job.

My favourite thing about him as a dm, even when Koda took the dagger even after being told not to touch anything. When koda was attempting it, he was like “yeah, awesome! Amazing!” Like he wasnt doing something thats gonna come back later to bite them

I hope Fernie ends up thinking books are his babies because they’re made of trees 😂

It was so, so cute! I love that Koda is this cool, stoic, quick-witted, competent, self-serving yet experienced mercenary that's basically the opposite of Bug (which makes the two of them GREAT foils) and then when no one's looking, he gets all giddy and excited when he finds something he really likes. It's such a fun character trait I hope to see more of!

I'm the note taker in my DnD campaign, and boy I can't even count the number of times a player has remembered a scenario completely differently than what actually happened - even minutes later like with Koda! Having receipts in a long-term DnD campaign is KEY!

I love the way that everyone plays. But, the way that Chanse immerses his self in the environment Damian creates is supreme.

Shout out to the editing team with the subtle background foley. Really adds to the storytelling

I wish these came out weekly! They are so good!

Realistically at 45 minutes, they could easily be weekly episodes. Most real D&D sessions are 3-5 hours and are played weekly...and I'm not even paid for pulling that off...

I think it's a serpentine talon, he and his sword are so quick and agile that they move like a snake in the grass.

Shayne starting off with a classic bad roll has me knowing this will be a good one 🤣

Just saw that they announced that this is now going to be weekly with the FINALE being September 20th… I’m having such a fun time watching this, and Damien and everyone are doing such a great job that I hope we get more in the future! 💜

@@agjul I think the creature then killed was ‘The Beast’ who was coming to collect the package/talk to them and now they are about to talk to ‘Beauty’ tending to the rose and will have a very awkward conversation. They trusted the Bully’s too much and now didn’t trust this character enough. 😁

I love seeing all the love Damien is getting as an amazing and captivating D&D Master. He describes the locations and settings so well! This is by far an incredible adventure and I can’t wait to see what happens next! I love all their storytelling and improv capabilities!

This was my favourite episode so far. Not a single dull moment, everyone got to shine, and it showcased that the four of them have clearly gotten more comfortable with their characters, and Damien is still such a great DM.

Imagine somebody went back and animated all the episodes with the action scenes and all the characters interacting and stuff, I would literally pay for that lmao

I love this! I feel like sometimes people get lost in the rules or numbers and forget to have fun! Even though they are newer players it is so fun to watch and listen to them describing what they do!

The contraptions Shayne has thought of for Fernie are absolutely stellar

The fact that Koda is so Brute, but Chanse unintentionally making Koda Fụçƙ up the side characters names, totally ties him to the unhinged dynamic from the rest of the group. Lol

I recently subscribed to Dropout so I could watch the Dungeons & Drag Queens campaign and I started watching A Crown of Candy right after. Watching an episode of this right after the “Chaos in the Cathedral” episode is like an emotional whiplash in terms of the difference between tragedy and comedy. This is SUCH a hilarious campaign, everyone. Delivering Destiny is SUCH a great name for it, too - definitely see a potential for future campaigns spinning off of the same name. I’m so happy for everyone that your hard work is paying off because it’s so clearly evident just how much love is going into each episode.

This campaign has honestly hit it off to a great start! I can't wait for more character development and how they interact with each other along the road! They're awesome adventures and hilarious at the same time 😆

Angela and Shayne mirroring each other is another level of joy 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I need Damian to recognize that they are one of the best DM's especially for a relatively new group of players

Yea, that’s how it is sometimes. You have to stop early because if you continue you end up in a situation where you can’t just end mid way and come back to it in 2 weeks.

I got so lost in the story that the entire episode felt like it was only 5 minutes long. This was my favorite episode so far.

I absolutely adore this series, please guys, keep it going, and honestly, the episodes could be longer. My favorite thing you guys do on this channel. Great work!!

Found the show on KZread podcasts and i love it. Its great for listening to while doing stuff. Makes it easier to picture in your head when you just play the audio

Didn't the quest giver (one of the DM's character's) say not to touch anything... When Koda said "I want that dagger" I was like "DON"T TOUCH THE DAGGER, NOOOO"

My favorite homebrew rule that makes critical hits ACTUALLY critical is not to double the die, but to add the highest number on the die to the hit. If it’s a d4, it gets +4. If it’s a d12, it gets +12, etc. I saw this on some D&D advice channel and instantly asked my players if it would be okay. But they should also know that my mobs would get the same treatment. They okayed it. ❤ I also don’t roll for health potions. They are max health.
