Exploring a hoarded house! BIG surprise behind this door! You won't believe it!

This house is PACKED so full! Today I was invited over to a house that had been hoarded by the previous owner. If I find some treasures I can buy them too! What will I find on today's adventure?!?
Watch and see!

Yes! What a lovely surprise seeing the lovely and talented Patrick again. I really enjoyed the music I heard of his.
This is the type of vlogs I love that you do - the exploring the hoarder house ones! It's good to see Patrick again and to know he has now moved closer to you so we might get to see more of him. Can't wait for the unboxing to come! Thank you Alex!

Yay! Hoarder house and road trip with Patrick! What a great day!
Please buy the whole lot and let us see you go through it all! That’s my vote!
It’s crazy to think that they are paying someone to clean out the house, when you would pay them to clean out the house LOL Hope you manage to buy all the contents anyway, this looks like a good one!
My eyes itch just watching you dig.
So much paper rafting possibilities! Old cards, books, catalogs, patterns, paper, etc. And most of it will end up in the dumpster. There is a huge market for this stuff!
Nice to see you do a other hoarders house series. There is so much dust flying around in the video that my nose and eyes begin to irritate .🤣

I had a 1960 walking doll when I was little. I am 65 now. I would like another one but I do not think I would be able to afford it.
This makes me want to declutter more of my house so bad and I've already done a ton! Don't understand how people would leave so much work for their family members to deal with. Love of stuff is a sad thing.
I was oddly thinking today that I wonder if Alex will do another hoarder house.

Unfortunately, this isn't his hoarder house, but I'm sure glad that the person who IS doing it thought of him to sell some stuff. I love when he digs through things.
Love the star clock. I can't believe they were throwing away the enamel pots and pans. I hope they donated and didn't trash them. They would be great for camping.

I would loved to have the double boiler with lid!
The red glass two ended bottle in the case is a combination perfume bottle and smelling salts. These are victorian.
Pews are being used on porches in America 🇺🇸. Good find if Canadian people use them. Most paint them and add pillows. Very neat.
My children call me a hoarder. Funny though how they stop by to see if I happen to have this thing or that thing still. When I started taking care of our grandkids they sure loved playing with the old toys. Imagine that🤔
That has to be one of the neatest hoarder houses I have ever seen, but OH MY !! Love the doll carriage.
"Tell Melissa I love her." I haven't laughed this much in days. Watching you navigate a way to the items you wanted through ALL those obstacles was impressive!
The “traveling salt and pepper” is not what that was. That was a perfume bottle/smelling salts bottle. One end was smelling salts, the other was perfume. My mom collected those. Love you Alex!
There's a lot of scrap. I would be in heaven going through all that stuff to get metal. Especially all that brass ..Even the garbage should be gone through.
Ah hey, at 49:32 those are steamboat playing cards. Magicians like those for card manipulation and since they don't make them anymore they are sought after. Probably not worth a ton, but more than your regular deck of cards.
That’s what you call dedication! Making a tunnel to grab a vintage guitar! Lol
Aww Patrick seems like such a sweetheart 😊
That Coleman lamp in the box marked 'old lamp' . . . the lamp it's self isn't all that rare or valuable without the glass shade, BUT the screen on it is! I've never seen one of those moth guards in the wild! they were designed and sold as an after market, not even sure if Coleman made and sold them or if they were done by someone else, to keep moths from flying into and breaking the mantles.
You gotta start wearing a GoPro camera so you can use both hands and go through more stuff for us! I love hoarder houses!
As a vintage collector and vintage dealer myself, I LOVE when you come across vintage clothing. Those snakeskin boots were super cool! Cowboy boots are very in and I think a lot of people want a quality pair that won't fall apart, so vintage is a great option.

You should put the red retro radio with the steering wheel on your workbench in the garage. It would go perfect with your red cabinets.
It's October so no surprise we're visited by a ghost. Hello Patrick! Nice to see a new hoarder video, more my taste than the car restorations. And it always helps to remind how we need to keep our own treasures manageable!

I have the sewing box. I've had for 50 years and still perfect. I got it and a treadle singer when I was 16 out in Mission Beach in California. Its works still today. Love it.
the Red Rose Tea figures are usually called Wade Whimseys after the Wade Pottery which made them.
I'm not going to be the only one to say that it's wonderful to see Patrick again! Hello Patrick, hugs from Belgium, I remember you well from years ago. Welcome back!

Wheeeee!Whenever!! I love watching you and your , 'cohorts' going thru boxes in these , " hoarder~houses" Alex! I know it is a very challenging, time- consuming, nerve-wrackin g to sort, repack in an orderly fashion so you can put it up for sale at your handy-dandy online Auction House! We shall see you very soon Alex! Hope to, anyway! Take care everybody!! Peace to all....💜💙💜💙💜💙💜
Nice to see Patrick again!
I think people who deal with a hoarders house, especially when it’s a family members, get so overwhelmed they are just happy that people will take some of the hoard off their hands.I love seeing what people keep and all the little trinkets and treasures
Good to see Patrick again. Hope you enjoy the finds Alexander.
Wow!! I was hoping he bought the contents again, but it’ll be interesting to see all the neat treasures Alex finds! Welcome back Patrick!
As always, love your channel, Alex. When you go through the boxes from this latest hoarder house, can you do us a favour? Maybe you can have a camera person helper or wear a GoPro head mount? It’s so painful to watch you go through treasures with one hand!🙂
I hope that Patrick reads the comments and to see so many people happy to see him. 😀

I have and I'm so appreciative 🥰
I truly admire your ability to cherry pick and be happy with what you find. I would want to have it all and go through it with a fine-toothed comb in case I overlooked something good. My fear of missing out would totally paralyse me from even starting if I was only allowed to cherry pick.
Alex, you should have made an offer on the whole hoard! These are the kind of videos that almost everybody loves and you could have had months worth of videos going through all that stuff. Thanks for sharing and I hope there are many more videos like this in the future!

I imagine that would be beyond his budget. There was so much., essentially a house full. Plus he has no place to put it all while waiting to go through it. No more store. I would bet Melissa would draw the line at that.

That was fun! Reminds me of when I first found you. Nice to see Patrick - what a handsome man with a wonderful smile (end of video)!
The vacuum demo was fun to watch, and how frustrated about the hall closet being full of stuff, lol! With all the empty stored boxes, one would think there is a treasure hidden somewhere yet to be discovered. Can tell the process has been a lot of work. It feels like Christmas to watch you open packages and boxes. Think a really good Boxing Day is in store! LOL!
Sadly this is what my mother's house increasingly looks like... I know this is going to be my job in a few years time 😩 She says she wants help clearing, but quickly gets stressed if we start, so I don't bother anymore.

When my parents had to move out of their luxury apartment there was a ton of stuff to get rid of. My Dad even went to the trash and "saved" a disgusting used matress. He claimed that someone wanted it. He rented a big room he stored a ton of his superfluous stuff. Secretely he even rented a storage container. As my brother in law said. Two years from now we have to carry this mess around again and dump nearly all of it. Now that my Ma died he bangs his money through for nonsense. He even planned to rent a giant 5 room apartment. Only for himself. But on the other hand he is to stingy to throw some of his garbage.

After cleaning out my parents house after they passed and it was not even close to that house but still to much stuff I've been getting rid of my stuff. I've told my kids my condo will be able to be emptied in a few hours and put on the market the next day after I've passed or move out. I love having empty or at least organized closets.

Every item brings back memories, precious memories of her life. As memories fade, reminders become gold. Please don't misunderstand the situation. Instead of simply tossing her things, take pictures first, then sit with her and ask her about the memories by way of the photos. Might make it easier for her. Just a thought from a septagenarian.

How nice to see Patrick again.
Alexander, I wish you would do something as far as filming. It would be so much better if you could have a head camera or have someone else film you so you could use both hands. It just seems that it would be so much smoother. Love your show and like watching all the goodies you happen upon.
As soon as you picked up the Sen Sen I was flashed back to church with my grandma and great aunts. If anyone was getting sleepy or not paying attention they'd slip you a Sen Sen to perk you up. Pure licorice flavor in a tiny black speck
Wow, thats a lot of stuff they have. I will be looking forward to the unboxing. It's good to see Patrick back in town. Hi Patrick.
Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Another hoarder house.👏👏👏

@@jankirschke7425 I find the odd bit at a thrift store here in Norway that I swoon over. Great road trip to a treasure trove. Looking forward to seeing what hidden gems you picked up. Patrick was excellent help as you burrowed through the stacks. Hope the radiator change out goes well.
Wow nice finds ❤ always a pleasure to see Patrick 👻
That was absolutely awesome! I'd feel like a total niffler in there, and wouldn't wanna leave until I'd checked every box! I think it's awesome, the job you have/do. Good luck with switching the radiator! Can't wait for more unboxing, and picking video's. I've truly missed this. This really is the best kind of video to me, the constant surprise of "what's in the box....? " And also, it's a joy to hear you talk about all of it. Little bit about this, little bit about that... I'm dutch, and I had not seen a tulip lamp like that before! Awesome.
Your best treasure is PATRICK! Great to see him again, and what a help he was to you. Look forward to the unboxing of all your finds.
Cow boy boots are in excellent shape. They may have been resoled in rubber, as originally the soles would have been leather. Worked in shoe repair shop in the mid-80’s.
I loved the wood from Windsor Castle, I liked it the best out of your search…..but you probably have found a lot of treasures in that lot!!!
Loved this video and so glad to see Patrick again.
You could spend days going through all that ,some awesome stuff but overwhelming too.
I love your treasure hunts
So lovely to see Patrick again.
JACKPOT!!!
The travel salt and pepper bottle is a perfume bottle
The sewing stuff had me drooling! The featherweight, toy sewing machine ("foreign!") and accordion sewing box with all its goodies would collectively fetch about $600 US where I live.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to say that the Predator is safe. He's completely 'Armless 😂😂

I had a few of those red rose tea figures when I was a kid here in the UK, my grandparents would find them at antique stores and get them for me. I only found out about a month ago, about 30 years later, that they had anything to do with Canadian tea.

@Natalie Penna I sold a paper sack of those about 30 years ago for $5.00 us. That's before I knew they were collectable!! I think they're made by Wade Pottery and they sell them under that name on eBay.
This brought back some happy memories. It's about time for you to get access to another hoarder house you can dig through on your own.
OMG that featherweight box looks pristine.
That’s a nice mid century clock.
Wow...Fairbanks Morse isa name I haven't hears in years. We grew up with a big old Fairbanks Morse console TV, from around '59 or '60. We had that until the mid 70's , when my parents bought a colour TV, and then it went into storage in my dad's shop. When they finally sold the house in the mid 90"s, it was still in the shop, and , it still worked !
I absolutely love those type of sewing boxes. I have inherited 2 of them so far and both were filled with treasures such as quality hand sewing needles in all types and sizes, 100% cotton and silk threads, vintage trims, quality sewing shears... I love when you do hoard videos and find so much treasure!
Patrick is back in town!!!!!
Alot of people cut and use the leather from cowboy boots to make art- crosses, picture frames, wrist bands, etc. Maybe Josh could use.
41:00 That sewing table is DEFINITELY the one the specialist in Toy Story 2 used when repairing Woody 😂
The previous owner may have sold "Needful Things"? Neatly boxed, ready to move.Careful young Alex! Bring a cat to type of houses. 😀

Also going to tell you to wear a mask in the basement!!!
I love it when Alexander gets excited!!
The silver teapot you left behind in the first box! Argggh!
The "expensive stuff": - the ash tray was amber glass either real or otherwise. Lots of people think that all coloured glass is important and therefore expensive. - as for the box, I have one (from my Mom). Asked her what they were for. Turns out they were commonly given as gifts back in the 20s to 50s. Mom received hers in the mid to late 30s (she was in her teens). The boxes were full of coloured stationery (paper and envelopes; and occsionally a matching pen. The boxes themselves were made from cedar and whatever they used to seal the wood prevented the cedar scent from sneaking out. Table with lathed legs: - I have one like the one in the hoarder house only bigger. The legs were curved with ornate designs. Got mine in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Once a month there was an auction. You could get bedroom sets, livingroom sets, and diningroom sets for next to nothing. On the other hand, small single tables would go for more than the sets. I always thought the reason was we could always find room for a small table but one of the larger sets wouldn't always fit.
I always enjoy your videos , Thanks 👍👍
All that stuff 😱 I'm stressed just watching 😄
Fun but so overwhelming for the owners❤
When I saw the bin of cowboy boots, all I could think was they'd make some cool birdhouses!!!
Your adventurous spirit is always fun to watch =)
Oh my I love love these kinds of videos!!! I see a doll house by the predator thing. I want that house while u want the guitar, Hahaha we see what we love.
Ngl, I love all the curiosity and collectibles videos and enjoying you uncovering your land but I'm always kinda hoping for more hoarder houses. I helped to clear one out many years ago and have always wondered if there would be a market for a service that specialises in that. I think it's also a reminder to me that there is a fine line between my tendency to want to collect things and me becoming a hoarder myself.
I found 14 bottles of 25 year, home made, Cider in a house I bought here in France and only one was off. The others were excellent
I thought the radio that looked like the dashboard was so cool. That I would love and grab just to have. Classic.
