This guy has done better marketing for Panerai in 20 minutes than Panerai themselves have done in the last few years

Easily the best and most informative interview I have seen on WatchBox. Mike Horn is both humble and a truly exceptional explorer. Panerai would be hard pushed to find a better ambassador. You can't help but value his opinion.

Thanks Watchbox for organizing this interview with such an inspirational person. However, my feedback to the interviewed would be to really polish up on his skills - show appreciation for some of Mike’s achievements and don’t just jump through your questions. Good job guys!

Without exaggeration a modern Captain Cook equivalent as a modern man could ever achieve - on each intellectual and philosophical level. The watch itself is magnificent by every measure . Somewhat unfairly on my part- the history of Panerai has been tough to feel comfortable with - Mr. Horns history with the brand changes this for me - the watches designed for Mr. Horn by Panerai are important as they move the history of the brand forward in a very meaningful way and bring a fresh perspective - a striving to capture the positivity and growth of the human spirit - expanding the idea of the quintessential mechanical tool watch in idea , function and purpose. A Fantastic vision for the brand . This was a high quality program that was an unexpected opportunity and pleasure. Thank you to both gentlemen. All the best to Mr. Horn - . 👍.

    1) Given the crown guard and crystal thickness, I would say that it is more robust. 2) It is lighter. (Made from Titanium and no metal bracelet). 3) it has 300m Water resistance (not 100m). 4) It has 72 hour power reserve (not 48 hours) 5) It has a rotating bezel 6) It is actually worn by a real explorer. 7) It has lug holes/screw bars for quick strap changing. 8) It has AR coating on the crystal (like real tool watches should) How many reasons do you need?

U are missing the point here " Panerai start their first watch design make for brave man during war time to perform some very dangerous mission" Where Mike Horn in the present day similarly took up countless life threatening exploration beyond most human dare to challenge " So to me, panerai did right on promoting featured all these brave human with right mind having same kind of spirit & mental relate to the brand was intended "
