Explore Bruges in Belgium with kids ⎮ highlights, Historium, boat ride on the canals, windmills
We did a city trip to Bruges in Belgium with our family. We did a walking tour to see the highlights of the (medieval) city, we visited Historium that gives you an impression on the golden age of Bruges, we took a boat ride on the small canals of Bruges and we walked to the windwmills on the outskirts of the city. We absolutely loved Bruges.

That looks like a great family trip. We're not really big on crowds, so a rainy day WOULD be the day we would pick to go on the boat ride. All that old architecture you guys have is so neat.

Really nice video - and so much to see and do in Bruges! I'm really jealous. I wonder if I'll be able to go there this summer. 2022 otherwise, for sure!

Forget Bruges. A real tourist trap. Chocolate shop - candy shop - souvenir shop - chocolate shop... charging you 3x the normal price. Nobody lives there anymore. Go to Ghent instead. Genuine town and people, great for kids and normal prices. 10x better experience.

It is very touristy, I agree. I do like the medieval vibe of Bruges though. Ghent is awesome too, that’s true!
