Exploration and Transformation of the Amazing Box - 3D Fractal Animation - Toastware Games

Hello everybody in KZread world!
I present to you my newest 3D fractal animation.
The software tool Mandelbulb 3D was used to generate the original fractal geometry and frames. The "AmazingBox" formula is commonly used within the program.
The rendering of the original frames took over a month to complete.
I used a bit of style transfer technology to alter the ending frames a bit and give them some extra, style. I used GIMP (with the G'MIC plugin) to stylize the keyframes, and then apply those stylizations to the animation using EbSynth (beta). I used Blender for video editing. All of the software tools that were used to make this 3D fractal animation were completely free.
For the soundtrack, I chose "Heaven and Hell" by Jeremy Blake. This audio track was obtained from KZread's audio library.

Wow... this is some really awesome Mandelbulb3D. I do those also, but just go to 1080p now. Any higher just takes SOOOOO long to process! I've got two 16-core machines processing 24/7, it is such an intensive program. But it is a LOT of fun! The variety of forms and colors is pretty big. You did really well with this one. What kind of processor do you use? Do you process out to that size or do you use Topaz or something to bring it up? For a while I was using Topaz to bring my 1080p to 4k. And a frame interpolator to change my 30fps to 60 fps. But I decided to ratchet those settings down a lot and just go for 1080p at 24 FPS. The frame interpolator needs a better GPU than I have also. But yeah, this is a really nice piece!

Hey, thanks! I actually rendered this on an old laptop that is inoperative right now. I'm not sure what processor it had, but it took about a month to render. I think this one was originally rendered at 4k with no antialiasing, but I edit with Blender and export most of my videos in 4k, which sometimes upscales or downscales slightly.
