I had always used a lever style air chuck that locks on. Your problem was your gauge might have read 200 but it was truly under that because of the slow leak at the tire

There is a reason there is pressure relief valves on everything, SO SHIT DOESN'T BLOW UP. I'm not sure how you guys lived this long.

as a suggestion a hydraulic pump gets up to 3000 psi.maybe use vegetable oil so you dont create a nitemare. stay safe and take care

I always wood use some cheap dish washing soap to take tires off.non toxic as for as I know & easy to wash out if it gets in your eyes.be safe not sorry.

An oxygen tank for a cutting torch can be 2200 psi. Adapting it to fill a tire will be the hard part and the hose will probably blow before the tire does. Lighting a fire under half of it will weaken it enough to blow at the 200PSI. Smell and smoke would be the concern. Maybe a propane a pipe soldering torch aimed at it.

all that land there with open dirt area's and u put the tires in a foot of grass where we can hardly see it, good thing they didnt blow up..maybe try a atv or dirt bike tire?

The amount of stupidity in this video is astonishing. As someone who has witnessed 2 semi tires blow up, you do not want to be anywhere near those if they are not in good condition, especially when they are over inflated.

Hey mark ... as a future reference... semi truck tires are designed for heavy loads(about 4,000lbs) per tire) with 10ply side wall and the tire usually holds 100lbs to begin with ... the valve stem will let go before the tire will for transport safety

In order to weaken the sidewalls you have to go thru the nylon cords. Grinding down the rubber won’t weaken it. All the strength in the sidewalls are the nylon cords. Also it’s kinda hard to tell but if those semi tires have split rims do not air them up with them standing upright even if your 20 feet back. Those rings are known for killing people! Lay it down and consider setting another wheel or tire on top to keep it from becoming a projectile. If it isn’t a split rim then your good! But cut the sidewall thru the cords

One must be smarter than the tire to explode the tire.

You must stay much far from that distance. It is very dangerous. When the tire blows, parts from it will fly in every way. If some of them hit you, you will die at place.

I don't know if taking the shrader valve out of the tire would help or not.
