Vinegar + Baking soda makes a reaction that forms a lot of gas (and a lot of pressure). The reason ketchup wasn't coming out was because there was no ketchup at the opening. If they shook the bottle so ketchup was at the opening, or held the bottle nozzle side down, it would have sprayed ketchup everywhere

Plot twist: he maybe aimed at the mansion and hit on the white every single part on the white but cut it out and made a bigger one
