Everyone's so busy coping over bakugo dying that no one has pointed out the beautiful parallel/feat of his explosions being so hot they changed the weather and brought rain. This is a direct parallel to all might being so strong his punches brought the sunlight. Hence the title as well

I mean we dont know if it was Bakugo's explosions which caused it, but based on the whole chapter it probably was and ye I agree the parallel between Bakugo and All might changing the weather is a beautiful one considering it shows bakugo finally reached that peak of power he wished too reach from the start Also I think its less people are coping that he is dead, and more trying to figure out if he is actually dead or if this is gonna lead to something further Since Bakugo's death was way too sudden without causing any noticeable damage to Shigaraki

+KJ the FUCK does that have to do with anything? I don’t need to be a manga artist to know when a plotline or story beat is stupid. Giving someone a power up for them to only use said power up for two panels before dying is fucking stupid and makes no god damn sense. It’s like if might guy unlocked the 9th gate and then immediately died after 20 seconds of unlocking it.

I feel like the reason All For One is remembering the 2nd user is because the 2nd user is the one who basically saved the 1st user and despite going against impossible odds, was willing to fight All For One and became the catalyst to the passing of One for All. Bakugo, literally on the verge of death, continued to fight on and even started to land good blows on All For One.

That's literally why. The narrative is obviously painting that picture. But you have people taking it in a totally different direction by saying the two are related or things like that

Definitely looks dead, but based on his writing style, i'm guessing he's alive. We knew star and stripe was introduced just to die, but she got a whole chapter of "imminent death counting down". Seems like a weird spot to kill off a character that's been built up for so long.

I believe Bakugo is dead in this moment, but I don’t think this is the end for him. He’s too important of a character, and his connection to the vestige world leaves a lot of room for miraculous things to happen.

nitroglycerin is known to be able to restart hearts, so given we see Bakugou’s heart has stopped, then it should be forewarned that his quirk awakening will likely restart his heart and give him a second chance. Or.... his heart really is absolutely fucked and he dead as hell💀

Then again his character arc is almost complete, having him make the ultimate sacrifice to damage Shiggy and give Deku the advantage would be a good way to close things off. Plus another fake out would just do more damage at this point.

Another thing. The second did appear to Deku and asked if he was using his quirk and Deku said yes. What if Deku sees the similarities between Katsuki’s and the seconds quirk and showed it to Katsuki. And Katsuki is just applying it to his quirk as well?

Izuku is going to find out way before he even gets to the battlefield. Bakugo is going to speak to him from the vestige space letting him know what happened. AFO expects Deku to lose control of his emotions when he arrives but because he already knows what happened he’ll be more calm especially with Bakugo helping him during the fight.

I really like this theory. And not only does Bakugou tell him what happens in the vestige world but he also gives Deku the advice to be calm, level headed and not loose his cool when he gets there especially since that’s what Shigaraki wants and they will also have a final and emotional goodbye in the vestige world. And when Deku shows up to the battle field and because of that talk and advice Bakugou gives him he might say “No one else is gonna die on my watch! Y’know why? BECAUSE I’AM HERE!” I think that would be nice and payoff Bakugou’s death 10x more and make it feel more emotional and impactful. This would also help with my issue being Bakugou dying and Deku not being able to say goodbye to him.

The thing about Afo/shigaraki seeing the 2nd user when he looks at Bakugo is most likely due to the fact that the 2nd user was the first person to oppose afo before he even had ofa despite being utterly outclassed. Remember that he was fighting afo before he ever found the first user.

Pretty sure its because they have similar quirks and he sensed the danger of bakugous quirk if he actually suceeded in finishing his move. Unfortunately afo either stopped him or bakugous heart exploded

If Bakugo is actually 100% dead and stays that way. It’s extremely anticlimactic for sure. Like no way he dies and izuku isn’t even there. Also there is just so much open ended stuff and especially him seeing all night and also the appearance of the second user showing up. None of it it seems like a for sure death. I 100% think that the seconds quirk has something to do with time control and we will soon see.

I believe Eri could come into play, many people have also stated that his Nitroglycerin can somehow help with restoring his heart, and others have stated time control plays a role in this. Bakugo does share extreme similarities with the second user though.

@@Presto5L eri now has a really small horn because she gave mirio his quirk back she can't revive bakugo right now, and her quirk only works on living things it's not going to be long before bakugo's brain stop functioning and he fully dies becoming something not living so her quirk will not work even if she had a big horn. Nitroglycerin can not heal a heart who was completly destroyed.

I have a feeling that we will get a reveal about Bakugo's quirk. I always thought the explanation was weird, with his sweat always being referred to as being "like nitro glycerin". It seems the chemical in his sweat isn't really understood. What if the explosions he generates are a secondary effect of his quirk, and he has essentially been using his quirk wrong. I always thought it strange that Bakugo's quirk doesn't seem to hurt him like Endeavors quirk causing him to overheat. Nitro Glycerin is an unstable compound. It's molecular bonds are unstable and wants to seperate. Even a small amount of energy can cause these bonds to come undone at high speeds creating heat, which ignites oxygen at such a speed it creates massive explosions. What if the chemical in Bakugo's body is supposed to be used differently and the explosions are a consequence of his body sweating it out to get rid of excess. I could see the chemical in his body being an accelerant which increases the movement of molecules. When it comes in contact with air it actually accelerates air molecules causing them to break apart creating explosions. If it is an accelerant then perhaps it can accelerate movement of molecules in his own body, perhaps even things he touches. He could move super fast, heal wounds faster, and think faster(which Bakugo is said to analyze situations faster than almost anyone) and even cause things he touches to explode. Now I'm no My Hero expert and it's just a theory. I just was always curious about his quirks nature and how it and the explanations for it seem too simple. If he can speed up molecular movement then that could explain the rising temperature as things around him are moving faster and generating more heat. Still regardless of if anything happens with his quirk or not, he is my favourite character and I hope this isn't the end for him. It doesn't look good tho and it could very well be the end of Bakugo. Gonna be a lo t and anxious wait till the next chapter

i'm confused because we have seen his quirk hurt him before. in the beginning when bakugo / deku fought all might , we see bakugo straining / hurting himself to keep all might at bay whilst using his quirk so that deku can make it. i think it was stated somewhere that the whole reason for his gauntlets is to lessen or outright remove the strain from his quirk. or is that not what you meant?

Well bakagou too has a limit almost all of the characters in this verse have limits with their quirk......expect very few Exception are like todoroki who when his body overheats can use ice quirk to cool down and vice verse Don't remember which chapter but bakagou does mention him having limits (other students quirks have a limit too and is mentioned) His sweat could have other abilities/functions.......and we will probably see it throu deku using 2nd user's quirk (i believe 2nd user is bakagou ancestor......so should have the same sweat ability)

First off,do you know how nitroglycerin works?been working in a medical field,we give nitroglycerin for people have angina pectoris(plaque arteries) & it doesn't heal the heart but expand the blood flow..in Bakugo's case,what he needs is defibrillation & immediate heart surgery or plot armor.

Remember kids, no matter how sad you may feel about Bakugou's death, you will never cry anywhere _even compressible close_ to how the BkDk stans did on Twitter...

I don't like the idea of Eri being able to revive people for two reasons: 1 - The moment you give the characters a way to bring people back from the dead is the moment all stakes are gone, it becomes Dragon Ball. 2 - It is established in the series her rewing only works on living things, so if it suddenly starts working on the dead out of nowhere it will feel like a cop-out.

@RJ- I hear some people speculate that since Best Jeanist quirk can control any fiber. He can try to repair bakugo’s heart with pieces of his heart and muscle/tissue fiber so he doesn’t die at least. For me I’m 50/50 on this. Like this sounds plausible but I’m not sure how to feel about this whole thing. Like I don’t want bakugo to die. I wouldn’t be mad at him surviving. But also it will feel like another fake out that Hori will pull.

@@djantouahmed7319 I grew up watching DBZ as a kid and, with two sets of wish-granting balls, let's just say the stakes weren't exactly one of its strongest points. And mind you now they have four and counting, not to mention stuff like reality warping angels and more. It is still a good show, but as an adult it really doesn't get me worried anymore. That's what happens when you have a literal "undo button" in your story, if it doesn't have limitations it breaks the story and, if Eri starts doing stuff like reviving characters, she will fully become one of these McGuffins.

i know i saw someone mention that it’s possible afo/shigaraki compares bakugo to the second user because the second user broke the first user out of the jail without ofa so he must have been strong and bakugo is giving the same feeling

I'm just kinda annoyed ppl keep crying that bakugo died pathetically. He died doing what he does, trying to win. But at least this time he was fighting for something bigger, and its sad that in his final moments we see his regrets as his dreams are snuffed. Deaths arent always glamorous, and against someone like Shiggy yall should expect an embrassing packup of a death with how OP he is.

We all knew Shiggy would be nigh unbeatable and everyone present knew they didnt stand a chance yet they're still trying, they truly are heroes and I'm proud of how far Bakugos' come. If this is how he bows out, I hope Shiggy is ready for the hell Deku will rain upon him.

@@SpeakHerMusic yeah like even tamaki's cannon didn't do a damn thing, but howitzer cluster generally did damage, enough that Shiggy at least decided to cripple him so he couldnt do it again. Bakugo, the fucking gnat to Shiggy made him feel tense while he was practically half dead. His lines "am i close to catching up to you" hit so much harder knowing he's the only guy there no matter how much he was broken or spat on, that pushed AFO at least mentally even a little. This is my fave chapter in the arc so far

The 2 and only thoughts that simultaneously and collectively went through my head while reading this chapter was: "Whoa, Hori really pressed the Kill Bakugo button huh." & "I MUST CHECK MHA TWITTER ASAP."

I don’t really believe he’s dead/staying dead. Things like this have happened so much in other anime/manga that I don’t take it at face value anymore. I’ll wait a few chapters to see what happens. Until then…

I feel like this is a type of jjk situation, where people said Nobara had died but no one was 100% sure she actually did, And you described this so well that I’m also sure he didn’t die.

Like you I'm sceptical about this being Bakugos final death. He's too valued to go out in which a way, I think it's the rule of 3, he's been downed twice now, if he's downed a 3rd time in a more convincing and final way I think it's lights out. So many death flags in this chapter, but it could all be misdirection for the big comeback.

Killing backugou is one of the best things that has ever happened to this manga. Its not that i dont like him or smth (he is not my favourite tho). This shit gives substance to the manga and fulfills the character, he died as a hero, he died fighting, he finally redeemde himself, there is nothing better we could hope for a character like him. Im praying horikoshi leave him like this tbh

I haven't kept up with MHA since war arc and just got this news, but the way people are treating some fans is just so biased. While Sasha's death and people mourning it seriously was accepted but not this.

MHA always had a bad rep because the fanboys hated the shippers and spread it around that the fans of MHA were crazy. But since this chapter It’s because of that whackjob pineapple man-child who stirred the pot so bad against the shippers and the Bakugou stans. On the day of the leaks not even giving anyone the smallest chance to process what’s going on he started jumping into people’s tweets, taunting them and QTing them and sending his hounds with one struggling brain cell syndrome after people. Then he and his clan of clowns have the audacity to say the people who they were attacking were the toxic ones when everyone was just expressing how they felt. I heard he got death threats while I do not condone them, you reap what you sow. that joke of an adult man is an asshole, telling a bunch of teenage shippers to suck his ball and shit because they (in his opinion) dared to defend themselves. He pretends as if he wasn’t upset by Twice’s death when his reaction is up on his channel. In reality the man-child just hated Bakugou and the shippers because they opposed his preferred ship of Izuku and Ochaco. Literally a joke of an adult.

This really does hit hard for me. Bakugou was pretty much my second favorite character and I know what you mean. For a character like Bakugou I not only would expect a more ceremonial exit but it also feels weird to me that in this war he’s the first casualty. I would’ve expected him to be like the 4th or 5th to go. It was kinda underwhelming but overall it was a pretty emotional send off for the character.

Horikoshis pair just grew 4 times it's size when he released this, even if Bakugo doesn't die it's still crazy he was mad enough to actually do it. Props to him 👏

I bet when bakugo got pierced through his heart, maybe it set off a massive release of the buildup of all the explosion clusters he still had stored up and and exploded on an atomic level, hence the mushroom cloud we saw in the panel, and to be honest, this feels similar to vegeta's final atonement scene in DBZ

Part of the reason I personally find this potential death disappointing is that it feels like "death to anger protagonist". Kinda makes his character growth and contrast to Endeavor feel pointless. Matured just in time to be a sacrifice, instead of, yanno, being better than Endeavor and having a respectable relationship with adult Izuku.

I'm glad someone finally mentioned Endeavor's glimpse of the future. I've been watching every spoiler video I could find and was really surprised it was never brought up.

The rise in temperature at the end I think is the most interesting part of the chapter because there’s only a few characters that can put out that much heat.

Thank you for explaining this nicely, and it's great to see a comment section with actual fans and mature people handling it in an adult way. I've seen other videos where people made fun of his death which is just disgusting, no matter how much you didn't like him, he was still a child and a hero. I hope this isn't the end for him.

What if the explosion in or "near" his heart pushed it a little further right, just having it dodge (in micrometers) the piercing attack from Shigaraki? But, with that chunk of torso missing (along with his left lung) I doubt his heart not getting skewered woulda saved his ass regardless of how well it remained. I hate to speculate, but in that one chapter towards the end, when the 2nd User told/warned Deku: "Something's Coming"... could Bakugo's death be what he was referring to? I have a feeling that moment will be connected to this probably.

Here's my take, the chances of him dying is 50/50 as best jeanest had something similar. Going by that future Endeavor saw, Bakugo's arm and eye are hidden as is the front of his chest. If he does survive his hero days are going to be similar to Allmight's time limit

I don't think this is the end of him, it feels so cheap and it's a weird and cheap send-off. Bakugou hasn't even really got to fight Shigi for long and his awakening was just happening right near his death, it feels CHEAP. So complain if him being brought back is 'cheap' when his send off was even CHEAPER. Nah, I don't think Bakugou is gone yet people.

I don't think it was cheap, there was a lot of details in the panes of this last chapter, and everyone was doing their best. It kinda feels like KNY, I totally didn't expect the death of some pillar while fighting the First upper moon, and his death sentence was dealt extremely fast.

The deuteragonist facing off against the main antagonist and dies. I did not expect Horikoshi to deploy this trope especially considering he stans for Bakugo himself

well think about it, if bakugo really is dead, it makes sense that it isn't super grandiose. cause frankly that isnt a very realistic way of going out. Its nice when that happens yes, but sometimes its tragic as well. We got to see a glimpse of the potential he could've had, only for it to be snatched away tragically where he couldn't accomplish his dreams. At least thats my interpretation of why it could feel "underwhelming" if that makes sense.

I don't recall MHA having any grandiose death so far, Nighteye died in the hospital, Midnight died off-screen, Crust was erased, Twice was just cut down. It would be in line with how Horikoshi handles death I will wait for the next chapter tho, I don't know if I can trust the guy with this since it's such a huge character

And that makes sense, it just also makes sense to keep that tragic reality that not everyone really goes out in a blaze of glory so to speak.

I think another theory surrounding Bakugo and the second user that keeps getting forgotten about is genetics. Bakugo may not be the second user, but he may be the descendant of the second user. This would also bring a lot into how Bakugo has a presence in the "vestige" world, as well. If we consider the nature of OFA and how it's passed down through ingestion of DNA, then we can consider that these vestiges also pass genetic stock... Or... more specifically, the quirk factor's genetic blueprint. Each successive stock of OFA, might fundementally change and alter the DNA of its new wielder, basically making them an amalgm, of sorts. This is almost exactly what Shigiraki is becoming and also ties into the "Quirk Singularity" theory. Essentially, we've been far too focused on the quirks and not the actual biological nature behind them and how they work. Bakugo might be the Grandchild, or Great-Grandchild of the second user and might resemble the second user, for that reason. Additionally, their quirks might be similar, but we might surmise that the second users is either far more powerful, or uncontrolled- as he's warned Deku to use it like a "last resort". It might have immense destructive power in the same din as Bakugo's explosion quirk. Bakugo might also resemble his ancestor in terms of his personality, which is what's triggering AFO's memory. ...Just something I thought about for ages, really. It's silly to bring up time travel and that, but it makes FAR more sense if we think that Bakugo's own hubris might be from knowing he's a powerful quirk user that comes from generations of reasonably powerful quirk users. We also have to remember, that Bakugo's mom isn't a pushover and he's actually afraid of her. I don't remember what her quirk was, specifically, but she clearly has a history of dealing with similarly powerful quirk users. That might be a way to trace her own lineage.

He has such a bright future, so that makes this so tragic.

Like we see his heart literally get pierced. If he comes back itll be through some bs.

He hasn't actually died yet, although he might look like he's gonna die I wouldn't assume that he will, based on the writing style of mha and alot of other anime, he might survive it, also in the world of mha, superhumans seem to be more durable and can take more damage than a normal person

Bakugo is also a major character in the series. My guess is that OfA will play a role in that one of the vestiges, probably the 2nd one, gives up their existence to save him with the caveat that Bakugo will only live for as long he did. So say the 2nd user lived to be 40, that's how long Bakugo has.

You said you were expecting a bigger ceremonial exit for bakugo, which i agree with. But a reason why his death might be significant is because deku is almost there and him seeing bakugo as he arrives might be a trigger to his rage, similar to a scene i've recently seen in a different manga. Would be cool to see, but damn this death really hurt

I think it might just be parallels between bakugo and the previous ofa user if it's not relatives or time travel or whatever. Parallels are big in this series as they're drawn with hella characters every which way, afo and ofa, deku and shagaraki, iida and todoroki back with deku, etc. And I think that the first and second user might've been similar to deku and bakugo in a bunch of different ways (which we might see if we ever get any more info on that) causing shigaraki to see him that way. I think that makes the most sense because if you think abt it, we see it in the second movie, but bakugo really is the first person deku would think to give ofa which would obv parallel with the first and second cause that's how the whole passing down thing started, deku seeing bakugo as the whole incarnation of victory thing, deku being bullied by bakugo for being quirkless and that somehow ending up as a lasting and real friendship, even how they look, all seem to be parallels and the fact that they were the ones to start it while deku and bakugo are the ones to end it, hopefully, among other examples, are all possible parallels that i think could easily be made to connect the two duos

Hold up… what if Bakugo’s awakening is actually a nuke, and the sudden increase of temperature is actually after Bakugo’s nuke. They already foreshadowed Bakugo making explosions all across his body, so I don’t think it’s much of a stretch. That, or all types of liquids may act as nitroglycerin now for Bakugo, because why mention the possibility of rain?

I honestly think the oncoming rain is a byproduct of all the heat produced from the failed ultimate attack used earlier by Tamaki. The heat produced by a fucking plasma beam must be immense; the attack pushed the floating battle ground and flew clean past the city. Its probably also symbolizing the death of Bakugo and a direct reference to the chapter title.

I find it suspicious Bakugo's mother said that boy hates the rain. If he's gone for good, the only way we're going to find out why is if she explains in some grief panel next chapter about how it always made him feel weak. Counter offer.. Bakugo is brought back [don't ask me how, maybe 2nd users' quirk which isn't yet confirmed] to explain it himself. Possibly how as a child the water washed away all his power, but now he realizes weaknesses can be strength. Then he ignites all the nitroglycerin in the puddled water that had fallen to the ground in battle in a new remote detonation awakening: Murder God Minefield! Doesn't seem like a huge powerup but it may be the assistance Deku will need in his fight.

I definitely feel like something was missing if this is actually his death in the story but I honestly can’t tell what. He had an epic last stand, self reflection, rain, parents, full death checklist but it feels off to me for some reason

About the All Might card, I took that as a flashback, where he wasn't able to get All Might to sign it during the Sludge Villain incident but asked him to sign it later at UA.

I think the reason afo saw bakugo as the second user or the parallel is because the second user was the first to truly combat afo but then again it’s just a thought

I’m probably maybe gonna get this right on accident 😂 but I randomly saw a clip of Bakugo biting all might during that test with Izuku. What if the all might embers are mixing with Bakugos quirk cause he’s having a near death experience.

I get the feeling that the second user was a particularly difficult combatant with a incredible strong will that lead a whole ass resistance against AFO. So the second user is a sore spot for AFO combine that with the fact that Shigaraki hates ALL hero's this is just Shigaraki's unending hatred for heros leaking out. Hell in one panel if you look at Shigaraki's arm you see a face being made.

Killing him after he gets a power up and doesn’t even get to use it is a terrible idea.

I don't think the movie is canon, bakugo having OFA felt more like a way to give some fans what they wanted, and make the movie interesting. My theory is that the 2nd and bakugo are related (he could be his great grandfather or whatever) if so, they would have the same quirk, and maybe, just maybe, the quirk "explosion" could have stored remnants of OFA that would have diluded through the generations, and right now resonating with the other parts of the quirk (Deku and shigaraki)

@@ShoJubuz well if we choose to believe that they are related (strickingly similiar features, possibly similar or identical quirks etc...) then the gene for the explosion quirk may have been a variant from on older, much more passive quirk such as a vapor or smoke type quirk (possibly like one that midoriya used although not sure), that would fit into the quirk singularity theory given it's now destructive power and negative side effects due to bakugo's body inability to withstand the quirks evolving mechanism. Experience and lack of use can also be a factor in a quirk's evolution, so if todoroki's familiy on the motherside never got some fighting experience or chances after the 2nd OFA user, then maybe the genome kept on mutating silently through the generations, but never really manifested itself, until bakugo that is.

Something I would like to say. Two heroes is cannon its just when it came over to us our side said it wasn't cannon. Meaning, yes bakugo is dead but not dead because he's going into Ofa aka becoming apart of izuku. The second user is most likely bakugo's ancestor but remember that wouldn't connect him to the vestiage world because shigaraki isn't able to do that either and he's related to nana. Also no, eri can't Rewind bakugo because remember she already did that with miro and that was waiting 6 months it hasn't been that long he is gone.

Honestly I have been thinking… when deku was talking with the vestiges or something they all noticed that people that had a quirk and inherited ofa died at an early age.. and in the 2nd movie we know that bakugo had the quirk for a day or a few hours but the transmission wasn’t complete cus he fainted, moreover when deku was talking to the past users they had said that the quirk couldn’t have been passed on to anyone else atm cus the quirk is now to overpowered which makes deku carry it easily since he’s quirkless but the thing that doesn’t makes sense to me is the connection between the 2nd user and bakugo. Those two are too similar in a lot of ways but idk why it just doesn’t settles with me, the second user is an adult while on the other hand bakugo is not so I don’t think they are the same person but their souls or there will might be connected, or the second user could have been “magically” been reborn into the world in the form of bakugo making everyone think he’s the second user and that might have been why afo wannabe was so shocked or well angry cus bakugo reminded him of the second user. Furthermore maybe the second user hadn’t accepted deku at first cus he already had probably planned on ahead and maybe didn’t want history to repeat it self with him dying but if you think about it afo was scared of bakugo and had started to actually attempted to kill him, so it probably shows that the second user was a lot of trouble for afo so he wants bakugo to die before he reaches his full potential. So the second user wants deku to save bakugo while being calm and thinking rationally or something might go wrong. The first and the second user are similar to deku and bakugo

Bakugo is tooooooo important to be killed off randomly like that.

The chapter may even have an epic vibe at the beginning due to Bakugou moving insanely fast and sad and shocking at the end by the following pages but I don't think Bakugou will die for various reasons, probably chapter 363 will show him interacting with the 2nd user (since he was mentioned by All For One and this suggests that they have something that connects them) and thus clarify the connection between them and after some revelations and explanations Bakugou will come back to life (kind of in the Luffy's style, because the Bakugou took a direct hit to the chest and considering Shigaraki's physical strength he may have caused a temporary cardiac arrest generating a near-death experience/effect and even though he pierced the Bakugou's chest for what it was shown was just the tip and it doesn't seem to have been a big perforation to the point of not having a way to solve it without mentioning that Jeanist is literally on Bakugou's side so he can still do a cardio massage the heart starts beating again and uses its threads to make a suture and take care of Katsuki's wounds even if his heart was superficially punctured, so Bakugou can come back surprising the people who thought he was dead for real) and so come back to fight stronger and with more capabilities than before he didn't have and at the same time or almost that Midoriya gets closer to U.A to join the battle, I've seen so many characters go through situations like this and come back that I won't believe so easily that he died, not to mention that the way it happened was kind of... "strange", at least for me

I'm no doctor but I'm pretty that if your heart gets impaled the way Bakugo's heart was there's no way for it to start beating again no matter how much cardio massage you get. Sure, Jeanist has control over threads but he's also not a doctor, it would be weird to see him being able to successfully go through with such a hard procedure as stitching a heart together, specially in the middle of a battle field (and even if he could I don't think it would be enough). That said, it's not impossible for Bakugo to come back but it would take a miraculous ass pull from his part or someone else to arrive at the battle field with a healing quirk or some of the rewind bullets

Totally predicting bakugo pops up in dekus vestige world before he can get to the battle field and then he’ll see the second user there and the connection between them wil be explained

Hasn't bakugou practically lost an arm? And if so, the second OFA user has that gauntlet that hides it... It could be further proof that he is indeed Bakugou. The face wounds are always changing position in these panels ahah but they could result in the second user's scar

And plus this guy that wrote the story he likes to play around so let's wait a little bit more because this is now cuz look at all might he's supposed to be dead when all for one shoot his shot he still alive until this day

Don't know why people are saying he's going to survive, his heart literally got torn up. If hero rising is Canon, he's going to appear in the vestige world and give deku his quirk since he was a ofa wielder for a little bit. If this can happen to bakugou then it's free game for any other student.

If the temperature is rising rapidly, it could mean that this sets the stage for a final giant explosion to damage Shiggy, but if that happens, he’s gonna die for real next chapter

I mean you would practically have to stay off the internet for days to not be spoiled about this, it's the number one trending topic on Twitter, or was, it's all over everywhere, I think it's obvious this isn't the end for bakugo as the title suggests, come on now, they couldn't even kill off gran torino, which would have been a great death if he died in the hospital and deku awoke from his coma to find out he died or something, and they couldn't even do that, bakugo is the constant favorite in the popularity poll, there's just no way you can even fathom the title to be accurate.

Man I actually think Hirokoshi should go through with this imagine a guy like Bakugou being dead. That’s going to raise the stakes on how serious this war is but we shall see what’s going to happen in the next couple of chapters

I think people are overthinking the all might "vestige". Its not his vestige. What we are seeing at that moment is what is going on inside Bakugo mind. Like the "your entire life flashes into your eyes at the death door moment". In short the all might we see is just Bakugo imagination. I think the confusion comes from the similar art style to a ghostly vestige and the fact that we saw the second vestige on the previews page.

I’d like to chime in my thoughts. Reading this chapter the first time had me super sad but looking into the panels I have my thoughts: If this is his death then this would serve as a catalyst to make Deku complete in quirk singularity as the 2nd stated towards the end of the Dark Deku Arc. Seeing Bakugo with Vestige All-Might can be a way of communicating to all-might indirectly and/or the vestige users informing Deku with what’s going on. Story wise, I do feel like the final arc can be a rush of events going on; meaning this could have happened simultaneously with the other fights/events going on with Froppy/Uraraka vs Toga; Endeavor and AFO as well as Touya and Shoto. There were a lot of cliffhanger cutoffs that cut to a different scene right away. Perhaps it could be a big build up to the last parts of this arc. In terms of Bakugou’s quirk which I find interesting is the amount of strain he had to take on to buy some time for Deku to arrive which caused his body to: A - give out hence the rupture of his heart while his quirk finding outlets to release its energy B - created some sort of defense mechanism to protect him from a fatal blow, assuming the blood could have been from Shigiraki’s arm instead of him. Anyways just my thoughts and speculation

I found out yesterday and though I don't really follow this series, I still love it and the message that it gives. Bakugo's death is upsetting for me, as it seems so sudden and sad. He's a pretty interesting character. I hope that at least he didn't die in vain

the theory of Second being Bakugo never made sense to me, for one simple reason. The Second and Third did originally plan to kill Joichi. Only deciding otherwise once they saw what a horrible position he's actually in. So, how does that make sense with Bakugo, who would go back in time, possessing all his knowledge on the holders and situation?

My theory is very simple, the second's quirk is based on life energy, he can use it to enhance something (similar to Nejire), in his case he probably enhanced the canons he had on his fists to shoot something and that enhancement is basically life energy transferring. Deku will be so angry at seeing Bakugo's death he awakens all of the quirks to full potential, so now the second user's quirk can transfer life energy from one person to another, at first Deku will try to transfer enough energy to revive Bakugo, with Eri helping to rewind Bakugo's grave wound, but he'll realize he probably has to transfer an entire amount equals to an entire person's life energy, in other words give someone's life to revive Bakugo, so that's when he transfer a piece of OFA and All Might offers the rest of his life energy to revive Bakugo. Yes I know Nighteye predicted All Might's death and all but let's remember that because of Eri all of his visions probably changed. This is just a theory. I really hope for the sake of narrative that Bakugo won't be revived.

But one thing we al agree, bakugo is dead for sure. His heart got destroyed. I've seen many people say the Eri would revive him, but 1- aizawa and the other kid who can "control" Eri to shut her ability off are already inside the shigarakis cage, and i dont think aizawa wouldn't bring a little kid inside a cage with a super vilain who can handle 6 heroes at same time while his quirks are being disabled and even managed to kill one of them, 2- i also don't believe that anyone there would be so cruel to bring a dead corpse to a kid and say "hey please can you revive this dead guy? thank you so much", so i believe if bakugo manage to stay alive at the manga, he won't be revived by Eri. F Bakugo.

I just wish I could have read more of the manga before seeing these spoilers and I know he probably won’t be revived or something but I just want Deku to come before he fully passes I also hope that since Bakugo is somehow connected of ofa that him and Izuku can still be somewhat connected like how he sees the other past users, that would make everything so much better

Really Need to start a list for the amount of almost fatal injuries that bakugou has had: Impaled X 2 (war arc), movie with quirkless being the plot and yet not talked about)

They killed off the Pomeranian OMG 😲. As much as he made my blood boil seeing him dead actually gets under my skin especially in light of how much he's developed as a character and how he was on the path to redemption and reconciliation.

It’s pretty bad when one of the main and most loved characters in an anime that’s this popular dies and the die hards aren’t loosing their fkn minds because everyone is just expecting he will be brought back somehow, even coming in as a vestige all but defeats any real impact from his death and negates it significantly. Either kill him straight out or just keep him alive, I’m so tired of basically knowing that nobody that’s a main character is actually going to die in almost every single manga story I read or anime I watch.

he is not dead just because the series is about to end doesnt mean he is going to die or so you remember how deku said in the beggining this is the story how i beca,e tje greatest hero

i don't think he'll die just yet. his quirk is awakening and for some reason all might's vestiege is able to appear to him so i think there's a lot more to the story than is shown. i particularly have a feeling Bakugo is able to communicate with Deku through he vestieg world, possibly either through his implied relation to the 2nd user or through the fact that he did possess OFA momentarily in the second movie (if it was truly canon which i like to believe is canon). but given that his heart literally exploded we'll need some sort of miracle if he's really going to live (i bet its going to be related to OFA again like it always has been in difficult situations like this)

I think that since he suffers fatal injuries, he can be rewinded back to good health with the help of Eri. Bakugou is way too much of an important character to die, and so suddenly too. This is just so that Deku loses control and absolutely annihilates the villains.

Which is exactly what AfO wants as he rampage will mean 100% constantly. Which can very well cause serious injury to himself and risk getting trapped. This is definitely not a food situation

I will be more sad if miraculously got to live. This entire manga will turn into a mockery. Horikoshi better stay commited now.

Maybe it’s just the true nature of the one for all quirk and it being past the point of singularity. It absorbs the quirks of those it’s user is close to so that they continue living on inside the quirk itself. Having to wait 2 weeks to maybe get the answer to this sucks!

I love how everyone thinking he’s dead doesn’t pay attention to very important facts and details, one being plot armor and anime logic, two being from everyone we’ve seen die none have had much character development. I don’t think the writers would spend so much time on bakugos development just to kill him off later, another theory is they were trying to find a place to put Eri with her quirk in (I’m not saying it’s true but it’s a small theory)

i didnt really understand what was going on in this chapter but the more you think about it the more you doubt this is actually the end for bakugou...i just remembered from this video but bakugou used ofa even tho it left him does it still count him as a user? is there a chance he could become one of those ghost things of all the previous users and help izuku out. not only that but is there a chance izuku could get bakugous quirk if this is really true, this chapter has left us with nothing but questions and sadness for a majority of the fandom. its alot to take in because hes such a big part of the anime it seems almost pointless to kill him off. but at the same time its the final arc and even if pointless it also makes sense. either deku goes wild or katsuki does become a ghost thingy like the previous users and helps izuku keep his emotions in check

I like the fact that you know how to analyze everything and that you take every option into account, I don't know for sure what will happen to bakugou but I think that he will either die to give a power boost to Deku or He will be revived by eri

Considering that Stars and Stripes had already hammered Shigaraki with a skyscraper sized lightsaber from her susanoo. Yeah Tamaki’s and Bakuguo’s attack would only push him back at best. Deku is going to have his hands full fighting both him and AFO. I don’t know how bakuguo can possibly survive this, the X-ray showed his heart was pierce. While I heard nitro glycerin can restart hearts, I highly doubt it can fully regen a ruptured heart.

What’s insane is, some how Bakugo was fast enough to move faster than Shigaraki could process, so does that mean he’s Faster than Prime All Might?

@@owenbridgers That only caught shigaraki off guard at first, ultimately and eventually shigaraki still landed the last fatal blow so shigaraki is still faster
