    Excuse me, I have a question about this example at around 3:13 in the video : You say 'Yesterday I got home and sb broke in' meaning 1st action is 'i got home', 2d action - sb broke in'. Doesnt it mean we can avoid past perfect? Doesn't it mean that the phrase like 'When someone broke in I had got home' equals the example above? Even though it sounds comic:)

    She meant the moment that she got in , she realize that someone had broken in already , does this make sence for you now ?

    you can't make past perfect, but you can gradually make course adjustments to get closer to perfect future. 👍🙄🤦‍♂️
