I honestly feel like they ruined islands, i remember i played it when u still had the little things u could use to get to different islands (obtained by fighting entities) and when the vending machines used to not need any levels (this is my opinion)

You need an average level of 40 overall on top of that to unlock trading.

I haven't done a co-op save before but when I did other saves like hardcore he has come maybe it is a bug or something to do with co-op saves I will look into it.

Add up all your levels and divide by 13 and see do you get an average of over 30
