You can just mark a player or place near him to know the distance and later count dashes down from center of 4x scope (one dash is 50 meters) so you can make more precise shots

That doesn't work because with scoped guns, it doesn't show you the distance on a marker

Backing up as you incrementally peek to avoid headshots was such a killer tip, thanks!

Just want to say thank you for what you do. I just found your channel on a video about zero build movement and I've gotten so much better. Just a couple days after watching I already have some crazy highlights with the moves you taught and I know I'm about to go crazy with these sniper tips too,

Amazing advice. I sometimes use the sniper enclose as a shot gun especially if I fighting more than one player at a time. This way I can do more damage even if I miss a headshot.

Very useful tutorial. Still struggling with bullet drop but your tips are VERY useful to get better at it. I now lead my bullets super efficiently but still having problems with bullet drop, it seems like I'm always aiming a little too low or too high, still looking for that sweet spot you seem to hit most often than not. Hopefully, I'll eventually get it thanks to this video.

There is a creative map I love using for all kinds of practice. It has a bot royale with peaceful/survival mode I've actually been spending more time their than the big map Not my map but I love it. I'll build a fort around the spawn and practice everything from snipes to upclose 3696-9193-3856

Learn bullet drop. Then when you see a target. Use your location marker to establish range. Send. If you have learned your bullet drop you are already ahead of the game. Leading is only slightly trickier. Remeber two other things. 1)Don't fall in love with your position. If your position is given away move. 2) The second shot is more accurate than the first.

Using a sniper in Fortnite, is like shooting the last enemy in any wave of Space Invaders. To paraphrase Lrr from Futurama: "Instead of shooting where they are, you should shoot where THEY ARE GOING TO BE!!"

@@antyprotogenthat’s not what it reduces. It reduces the muzzle flash, the fire coming out of your gun. The glare is always visible on the 4x scope, nothing removes it

You should make an updated Chapter 5 video after Epic nerfed the sniper rifles. I'm really struggling with the bullet drop adjustments.😢 Also, I'm having a difficult time with the enemy scope glint and seeing my target. Many times I can't properly judge where to aim because of the glint.

This is really good advice, but what happens for me? I choke😭 so i take a shot and i realize that they are aiming at me aswell and i sort of choke and get scared. Also, are there any aim training maps in FN that have current season's weapons? I've been struggling to find one. With the current situation where all weapons except for shotguns are projectile, I have to re-learn my aiming quite a bit.

I've been slowly learning but there are a few damn good shots ive made 😂 one time i headshot a dude at 200m with a holo sight right before he got behind a tree. He had a riot sheild and i just kinda guessed the shot lol i wish i could have clipped it.

how do you know which scope to put on? other thing: would be really nice a guide on the icons on the hud: shield shots, health shots, shield break shots... cuz it confuses me a bit

When you hit an opponent numbers pop up indicating the amount of damage inflicted. There are currently two options for HUD: each hit shows how much damage for that hit or accumulated damage. If the number is blue, you hit shields. If it is white, that is health. If it is yellow, that is a critical/headshot. When the shields break there is a sound like shattering glass. Hope that helps!

You are so cracked

I stopped carrying double heals, smgs (unless I have an easy match quest for one), and I swapped out the auto shotty for the pump, I try to run double pump and Stryker, going to try using Stryker, pump, sniper. I try to go for Shockwaves over the grapple blade, and I'll pick up flow berries if I can't find either, but I will pick up porta-bunks if I can't find anything else. I've been catching more victories, a couple of them were rather mundane wins, but I'll take them. I just need to work in getting over excited/panicking during 1v2s and clutching up the very last fight. I've lost in 2nd because I either got overzealous or started panicking

Your custom snipe map from a few Seasons back is STILL paying dividends. My snipe skills went way up when I made a map based on your template and started practicing. I'm still improving but man, I'm hitting some sweet snipes recently. Also, knowing how to snipe helps defend against it. I know where I would move to get the best angle, how long the reload takes etc. Knowing these things I can use it against a sniper to rotate around or push them more safely. If I get caught in the open areas with no sniper, I don't panic, I keep calm and patient and work the terrain as best I can.

I am pretty sad tbh, am enjoying practicing and working on specific skills as much as the real game, but ever since chapter 5 there is nothing to play but br :/

Gotta say at the end the left and right gets confusing. You say you're aiming at the right side of the player's head but you're definitely aiming at the left side. Just a thought to stick to one way to give direction, either your right and left OR the player's right and left. Otherwise this was excellent, ty! I was analyzing a loss from earlier and realized if I had hit my initial sniper shots it would have likely been a W instead

I can snipe, figuring the range and physics in any game has its drawbacks, recoil etc.. I did snipe with binoculars and a M60E4 NA-8 Top 10 back in the day of SOCOM 1/2. 3 I was semi competative but not clanned. With fortnite I got into it a few weeks ago. At about I gather 470 kills.

Got in a BR lobby (with my custom code, so its the exact same as a real game) and had an enemy scope on me with a 2x and a 4x - no glint on the 2x, but there was on the 4x.

Started watching after you absolutely destroyed my squad. I was like "who is this man?!"
