White diamonds aren't rare at all (compared to other gems) the entire market exists because of artificially limited supply, a few companies own effectively all of the jewelry grade diamonds and sell them slowly to keep the price high.

Not everyone is looking for unique and exceptional. They might want their Patek iced out just for the show off. It is what it is ! And Jason besides artist, he's also a business man who in order to keep his store alive needs to make a living !

@@ConstantineVac I understand that, but the guy specifically asked for "something nobody has done before". And putting diamonds on an expensive watch is the most boring, less creative way of going about it. But then again, the client was ok with it so whatever, just shows how much of an "artist" the rapper really is.
