PINNED COMMENT - I believe I misspoke on the Expert Grill as it relates to the “electronic ignition”. I know I read it somewhere, but in reality, it has the “push and turn” type ignite system for each burner.

I got an Expert Grill 4 burner with right side burner at end of Summer sale in 2022 for less than $174. Mine has cast iron grates. It is the best gas grill I have ever owned. Love how each burner has its own starter. I grill 2-3 times a week. Heats up fast and grills great!. When done cools down fast too. Keeping it covered on the edge of a covered porch keeps it looking new almost a year later. I live in RI and grill every month of the year. I highly recommend the 4 burner with side burner Expert Grill from Walmart. You will love it!

Not sure about the Expert Grill price but today,6-16-2024, I got this Char Broil grill for 299$ at Lowes.

Thank you very much for the video. My charbroil is still going and it's been over 7 years. Its starting to show its age .Yes I have faithfully bought the replacement kit package and replaced two covers for it. Gonna take your advice and go to the charbroil website and I'm really thinking about that charbroil you have. I dont like the 😮exposed bottom on other grills . I like the cabinet enclosed charbroil. Looking to stay faithful with Charbroil....but I did see the Monument Mesa stainless steel 5 burner available at lowes but then again the back was not fully covered. Yes it's a trivial thing to worry about 😂😂😂. Awesome video. Appreciated that

Dang lowes has the badass commercial grade tru infrared 3 Burner on sale for 499. That's what I'd take. They really do cook amazingly well 😮

I have my CharBroil 6 burner grill with the side burner for 25 years I clean it and keep it covered and after 25 years I just ordered a new regulator with the burner tube and hoses from CharBroil for $79.57 and my grill after all these years still looks like new and no rust any ware. My money is on CharBroil !!

Thanks for the review, I usually buy the cheapest one for the size I want. Stored outside, none last very long.

Good summary Mike. Yeah, those lighted control knobs are worth the extra $250. Just like the small version from Expert Grill, I have no clue how they market that for $250. If you are still thinking about it at the end of the season, I suspect you could get it for even less.

No, grills never come with tanks. They aren’t cheap these days either, but nothing is lol.

Check your local Lowe's. I got the Charbroil on sale for 298 before a military discount.

It’s a device to use to light with a match if ever needed. You’ll probably never use it.

Is it easy to clean. Like a tray that slides out. Not a grease cup they all have one

Better see in use. Bought the 4 burner expert grill for use at Father in law's. With 12 to 15 burgers on turned into ball of fire. Have tried using it twice, no matter the temp setting same results. Grease tray catches fire and no controlling it. Just my experience, very disappointed with purchase.

@@EverydayBBQ New, right out of the box. Seems like the flame up starts on the burner shields and then ignites the whole grease tray. Closing the hood to out the flames doesn't work too well as the opening in back acts as a chimney and flames shoot out there. May work for less fatty meats, I've only used for burgers.

@@randyb9066 it’s surprising but I know it’s possible. Especially if they are very fatty burgers (frozen for example) and cooking with higher heat.

It’s January 2024 and the grill is still $247 at Walmart Del City, Oklahoma 73110

If the price was the same which would you reccomend?

Main difference is presentation. One looks ugly and cheap, the other one doesnt. People are willing to pay for beauty and style... most men like myself dont give a sh*t though. Functionality and expense are the 2 main factors. The o ly logical choice is the one from walmart.
