    @@colonel_bootycakes Chop sticks are for eating, not flipping food especially not "steak" (if you can even call it that anymore, it's basically just beef fat) that cost that much since it's small and will squeeze too much. You should either be using a flat tool to flip or soft tongs.

    ​​@@Dolbic. I don't know whether you had wagyu before or not (probably not)... But the texture of the fat on regular beef is completely different to wagyu beef. The fat on regular beef is clumpy, hard and rubbery to chew while the fat on the wagyu beef is soft and melting even at slightly above room temperature.. So the answer is NO, you can easily tell them apart. You can't fool one with another...

    Not really. It’s not about the fat specifically. It’s about the marbling and that flower effect. Also certified wagyu comes from farm that has to meet very strict regulations.

    @@pablojavierperez4909 wagyu a5 is about 45-60% it might feel too much to some but usually to counter that it’s cut thinly,half a normal steak and it’s also cooked with not much oil.chefs also try to render off as much fat as possible it’s also better than eating the fats as the fats are not in clumps but they are spread out within the lean meat

    As someone who has eaten more Wagyu than I care to admit and as someone who like steaks medium rare to rare, I have to say that altough people make huge fusses about "omg neeever overcook Wagyu, its a waste for such an expensive meat" ... it really doesn't matter: Normal steaks turn into leather, Wagyu stays smooth, it just changes flavour. Cook it any way you want, or don't cook it at all, it will be amazing..
