I know what you mean 🤣, but its usually not the dealers, but other comic buyers that seem to give funny looks. I generally ask the dealers if i can film them and edit that bit out (the most obvious one here was the original art dealer where I had to edit the video accordingly). If you watch my ECCC video, I left most of my requests if I could film the booths in.

Thanks for letting me attend vicariously as I haven't been to a con since the late 80's, I'm jealous! See you on the livestreams!

That original art around the 13 min area was cool to see -those Marvel Team-Ups with the X-Men appearances especially as those were the types of books I was collecting back in the stone ages when those came out.

Thanks. This is the second time I've come across her at this dealers booth, it seems to be their thing. I had to do some sound editing to remove the track she was dancing to, so probaly looks a little weird her dancing to nothing.

WonderCon started at Oakland, CA years ago.

Thanks! Meeting Marv Wolfman was amazing. Hopefully you'll also get the chance to see him at NYCC, but I've also heard he is planning to attend Baltimore Comic Con later this year too.

What did you think of it. I watched Comic dens coverage of Megacon in Orlando, it seemed a massive show, Still and all I would have liked to spend a few hours trawlig through the treasures. Thanks Al. In all fairness to WonderCon, I filmed very early on the Friday just after doors opened and it usually gets VERY busy on Saturday and Sunday. Good news is that the dealers where much more plentiful than at Emerald City Comic Con and they were mostly centred around the CGC booth. I'm looking forward to my favourite con of the year, HeroesCon at Charlotte NC later this year, that one is a real comic book collectors Con.

Ah, I have neber seen any coverage from there. I guess it is getting harder and harder for Dealers to attend these events, with the rise in costs, And I guess a Friday is a work day. So another one to look forward to. Until then I look forward to the next video. Cheers Al@@StillOnly35c

Matt Baker could be the next big thing after Dave Stevens except that his comics are too expensive for most readers. Rob is at 3:40, he's the guy in the Deadpool mask still in his dressing gown - very casual wear for a convention. G.S. X-Men in 9.9: what controversy? 99.9% of fans can't afford it, there are many alternatives if someone wants to read the original story, it's really just a promotional gimmick. Great to see some graded Epic Illustrated issues and Warren and Marvel b/w magazines among the wall books, a neglected corner of collecting. Very nice selection of original art at 14:00. Thanks for this David.

I think Matt Baker is already there from a big thing perspective, but as you point out, the prices for those books are mostly out of reach. On the Where's Rob? giveaway, although I'd like to think Rob was in the Deadpool costume, sadly that's not him. He is in the video somewhere, so keep your eyes peeled.

Correct, you are the 2nd person to spot him. Not sure how I missed him at the time (too busy filming), but it was a great surpirse when I reviewed the footage, especially as he looks right at the camera.

I know what you mean. I've seen her a couple of time at that booth, think it is part of their setup. The dancing looks a little weird as I had to overdub the music to avoid copyright.

Was that Rob at the 18:26 mark?
