I rode the Echizen Railway dinosaur train this time.
In line with the renewal opening of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and Dinopark Katsuyama, the Echizen Railway's dinosaur train, which started operating in the summer of 2023, resumed its operation on March 2, 2024, with the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Fukui.

Thank you for mentioning the Tyrell Museum. I actually have been there, about 30 years ago. Massive Building and they were in the process of assembling one of the larger dinosaurs. Quite the job to do!

初めてコメントさせていただきます。 ITSUKAさんが行かれるより3週間ほど前恐竜博物館に行きましたが、その時は車窓から見える山以外雪が全くなかったので、こんなに雪あるの！？と驚きました。 あと、新幹線開業以前だったので博物館の人の入りが矢張り違う・・・ 博物館のプリンは私も食べましたが、美味しかったですよね 全く鉄道や旅行マニアではなく、たまたま日にちが近いだけで嬉しくなってしまいコメントさせていただきました。

恐竜博物館、すごく大きいですね！想像以上でした。 てくてくさんが、前の動画で呉の大和ミュージアムを紹介してくれたんで行きましたが、 恐竜博物館にもいこうと思います。 えちぜん鉄道は、永平寺口までは乗ったことがありますが、恐竜列車いいですね！ お土産の恐竜の匂いがするコーヒーが気になります！(笑)

いつもありがとうございます☺🎉恐竜博物館はリニューアルしてさらにパワーアップしていました🦖福井駅も北陸新幹線のおかげ？ですごく綺麗になっていたので、ぜひ行かれてみてください☺恐竜の匂いがするコーヒーはまさに野生の恐竜の匂いでした！いい匂いというより野生の匂いです笑ぜひ嗅いでみてください！
福井の恐竜博物館に、行ったんですね！ 僕も、オープン初年度に車で行きました。 中央の対面である巨大スクリーンの真ん中に立ってると、頭の上をステゴサウルスやトリケラトプスがまたいで、通り過ぎて行くんですよ。 当時はまだ、恐竜は鳥類の祖先でなく、陸生爬虫類と分類され、羽毛恐竜も発見されてませんでした。 ジュラ紀と白亜紀の個体も、一部混在してましたね。 アロサウルスの実物犬歯が触れたのには、興奮してました。 大分今は、装い変わりましたね。 視てるだけで、ワクワクします。 土産に、ティラノサウルスのマグカップ買って、未だにありますよ。 去年の９月、大阪にアンキロサウルスの90％ミイラ（実物）展示にも、観に行きました。 日本には草食竜しか居てないって言われてましたが、ここ数年で肉食竜の化石も出て来てるので、もっと盛り上がると思いますよ。 ゴメンナサイ、マニアがばれたみたいで…。

いつもありがとうございます！恐竜めちゃめちゃ好きなんですね！🦕🦖巨大スクリーン真上は見てなかったです！知らなかった😭今度行く時は頭の上も要チェックですね💡私が幼い頃は恐竜は毛が生えてないと言われてましたが、近年毛が生えたカラフルな恐竜たちを見たことがあります。すごい恐竜の研究が進んでいるんだなぁと感じてました。特に福井県はすごいですね！日本に肉食恐竜がいたなんてワクワクします☺恐竜はとてもロマンがありますね✨
恐竜が全部可愛いです。おかげで楽しい旅になりました。
恐竜列車の内装、細かいところまで作りこまれてるところがこだわりを感じます。 恐竜博物館は自分では行くことはなかったと思いますが、ITSUKAさんの動画を観て行ってみたくなりました。「イカがおるやん。」恐竜の中にイカがいるとつっこんじゃいますねｗ。 帰りに降った大雪。諸説ありますが、恐竜が滅んだのは隕石が原因で地球が寒冷化したということらしいので恐竜の旅のラストに相応しい感じです。

When the dinosaurs lived it was a lot warmer on this planet. We are currently still climbing out of a mini ice-age. Love the video. Cool musuem. Would love to visit it. I'm a sucker for anything dinosaur related, the train looked cool, although the animation with the over the top voices would drive me nuts.
if dinosaurs had still lived til now maybe there'd be a human museum in Fukui for Dino kids to visit

Awesome video as always! The entire Prefecture is like stepping into a real life Jurassic Park theme park from the film. Especially the part where you show the technicians examining the fossils. I definitely need to make a visit there.

I want that train car seat fabric to decorate my living room in. Hahahah. I also don't think it's fair for people to say Japan was a "laggard" in paleontology. I mean, it's not like Japan is a dry huge land mass over a billion years old, like parts of North America or Eurasia. The fact Japan has anything left to find is pretty spectacular.
