But some questions: WHY the song durations are shorter and not much longer than this? Like khalsi is not even 5 mins song, even its arrangement and everything feels like the song ends before it gets to us. 6-7mins long average song is much better with detailex and patience in composition, the songs arrangement seems IN RUSH (its the same with this season's almost every songs). Want songs from elder artists too from various parts of Bharat❤ who treasures age old traditional music, folklores. We need to preserve them. And PLEASE MAKE SONGS FOR ALL GENERATIONS , not only youth, and with much beautiful melodies, sur, taal, indian classical inclusion both musically and instrumentally❤

I don't know what they are trying to prove, the songs all seem rushed and overblasted. Songs end before you start feeling good about them. Also even though lyrics are good, they seem repetitive everytime. So much electronic music seems to take away any kind of essence and emotions. Maybe they really need to rethink about totally electrifying music and then blending it with folk. These songs are an example that music can't enjoyed if you don't add traditional instruments. Hope they come back with a blast next season just like CSI 2.

Song isn’t rushed but yes it is shorter, and that is due to the business of streaming. If you can sell twice the number of songs in same time, earn four times as much money, and double the ad revenue, songs will keep getting shorter and shorter. Also our short attentions spans dictates, that nobody wants to play a song that repeats the same beat for 6 minutes.. we are to blame for it all. The listers!

@@i0love0jumper agree as it because of consumers depend on shorter version but what is meant by "rush" is that if you take compositions from early 2000s or 2010s or earlier to 2000s , you can feel that the composition is not kind of just passing by, it gives time to the listeners to build up the thing its presenting, so we felt tge patience that was naturally in the composition. Whereas in recent times most songs are shorter in version , also feels to be in rush to get the work done, instead of taking time to build the experience within listeners. AND THIS TAKES TIME NATURALLY.

Bangla definitely has a lot of listeners but compare that to India which has a wider reach just by the name, I’m not saying anyone is less than anyone, but if I was putting my money on an team, ide put it on a team that has more reach. Also Ide opt for shorter games so we make sell More of them, hence came IPL..see a trend?
