It’s not the dogs fault, it’s never there fault. It has to do with training and these dogs are extremely smart and can learn fast.

Wow God bless him for that! My last one was 16 when he was put to eternal rest. He was still sharp & alert but the poor guy just could not get up or walk. I miss him so badly. R.I.P. Turk....

I love it. That's so true! The reality hits the expectation BUT I love the loyalty and the personality of each Mali one out there. The flufy play comedian side next to the "million of one second cruise missile locked on switch" of guarding and protecting. I miss my Mali-girl so much, she cross the rainbowbridge two years ago with an age of 15 years and two weeks. I miss her each day and remember all adventures, play times, search and rescue missions out there. If I see any Therapie Dog or a K9-Unit out there, I pay respect first to the paw-soul next to his handler.

Huh my girl is only 4 months old an she knows to sit and wait until a release command is given (break) before she enters or leaves any door to the house, and her crate. Literally having no issues with her at all. Thankfully.

LOL, true. A next door neighbor to my parents got a Malinois from a shelter. They didn't know what it was. They had only had it a few days. The neighbor said, "God...this dog is so active. He never winds down." I told her what she had. Can't believe the rescue shelter didn't say anything.

Our rescue told my husband his dog he picked out was a border collie mutt. When he brought the puppy home I said, "That's not a fucking border collie! It's going to be a huge dog! Look at his PAWS!!!" 9 months and 64 pounds later.....

I wanted 1 before all the idiots out there watched John wick and The Dog and ran out and got 1 and have know idea what to expect and then take them to a shelter or worse. @@neucounty yes belgians are fun. I love the stability of the working line German Shepherd though. My favorite are the X Malinois or X herders, Mals/Dutch/WL GSD from Dutch lines because they combine all three breeds. Have you ever had a working line German Shepherd or only pet or show line? I've loved my Malinois and I love working line German Shepherds so it's really tough. I find Shepherds to be more serious and thoughtful while Malinois are definitely more comedic

Thank You. Do Your research big time! Every breeder is very different. Do lots of research on the drive your looking for. Sex and looks should come last. Drive, personality, character…. That’s everything! Ask what they do with the puppies. Do they do any type of training with them? Exposer to things? Parents on site? Ask lots of questions!!! A good breeder will take the time to answer them all. Don’t settle either. Take the time to find the EXACT puppy your looking for.

My male is the same however my females nails grow like wild fire! Even with walks and runs her nails just constantly grow. Always having to keep up with hers. Never really touch my males nails.

I would first suggest a vet check. If all is clear there then I would try working his mind more. For Malinois it’s not all about physical activity…. Working the mental (brain) really helps them.

This is a German Shepherd Malinois mix and I don't know why they don't tell you that. Maybe just for ease. He is an X malinois. That is why he is a striking and large. His head is larger he has the head of a perfect blend of German Shepherd and Belgian malinois. His size comes from the shepherd and his Fawn color comes from the Malinois

@@neucounty I'm surprised the breeder did not tell you. You are familiar with dogs I'm shocked that you don't know that he has German Shepherd in him which is why he is large and his head is larger. It's very easy to spot the difference when you're familiar with both breeds

@@touya_todoroki974 you are on point! I’ve got videos of my dogs picking tools out of a bag that get little attention yet the typical jaw snapping aggressive behavior gets millions of views🤷🏻‍♀️. Training helps shape a Dog. Builds major confidence and makes them an all around better Dog to be around! Don’t get me wrong I love the bad ones too…. It’s not their fault.

@@neucounty agreed its sad that after 2 unreasonable bites a dog can be put down, well in my area atleast which tbh i think makes sense even though the dog may be acting aggressive many likely wont take the time to train a dog that's bitten before multiple times becouse the chances of it biting again after the first bite are dangerously high the first bite usually stuns them they dont actually want to bite at that point, but the second bite is when they put the force into it, alot of dogs are also dubbed aggressive when they arent i walked and worked with 4 dogs 2 small 2 big smalls were good pups typical house pets the bigs one was a retired service dog after she realized i wanted her walking next to me it only took to requests of heel each time or so after i retought her it, the other was a "aggressive" he didn't mind me i made myself non aggressive and like nothing she was surprised i worked with him to teach him "humans dont do anything" becouse of the area bout 2 weeks in and he was fine with walking by people or dogs, now around his owner may be a different story but that boy was a good boy and didnt do shit to anyone but grumble at first until he got to know em i can garantee with a bit of work with the owner (my mental health was bad for a while and i had to stop) they would have been just fine, im pretty sure i made a big difference in the dogs lifes the little dogs worst thing is they managed to snap leashes...

@@LisaMarieAdams they don’t respond well to a harsh hand/training. They excel with positive training. Example…. If I yell or get load or upset the dog takes that to heart and training no longer is fun. If I use “yes” “good boy” fun in training they are more eager and happy to learn and do anything you ask. Plus if you raise them with a hard hand then that’s how they now learn to respond. Want them to respond nice then teach them that way of responding. Hope this helps.

@@LisaMarieAdams Yes, neu country explained it aptly. I also would like to ad their sensitivity makes them possessive and jealous. It makes them extremely sensitive to your emotions, family and your inner circle. They can be absolutely crazy, but also extremely intuitive. Their emotions is very close to the human level.They feel you, when you grow with them. Will definitely destroy an intruder as well.
