I cant paint the whole Character after selecting it and adding a new layer, what to do? So I selected as in the video then added new layer but when I paint on the new layer it does not work and seems to block, I cant paint anything on new layer with the character selected

I’ll be honest, I do love clip studio paint. But I am sad about the update pass/subscription, softwares were always one time buy but after Adobe almost all are going for subscriptions, to be fair. I understand the company needs to make money but they submerged with another company and it isn’t the best turn to be honest. They already have subscription for iPad, which I think could be one of the reasons how they can still make money. If they want, we can buy 2.0 full version separately and after several years 5.0 separately, and they could make tolls like liquify etc be pay to use, maybe another way they could’ve make money. But it’s alright, I miss the old times where you could just buy something for once and use it forever. But everything seems so expensive this day and it’s a material world. Even if it might be weird for a company to open up a patreon, you guys actually can clip studio! People are willingly gonna pay on there monthly, pls no subscription maybe open up a patreon, you can make a lot of money there, people want to support you are gonna help so please. Please.
