Sorry to say Vosk, my opinion is crypto if your roi is more that 2 years is a big posibility that you will never roi. And on hdd roi is over 7 years+ if the newtork stay the same when altcoins bull run is better to buy the coin because hdd mining is espensive. This is just for fun not to make money!

Chia rewards dropping like a rock, very little faith ,doubtful will ever breakeven,its clear compression benefit’s evergreen,

I’d like to see a deeper dive in to the hard drive mining. There is a lot of questions I have that your videos either kinda graze over or don’t answer. Such as, what does it actually take to “DIY” a Chia mining rig, what’s involved, why is it so expensive, what is the specialized equipment needed? Also, I am assuming that the hard drives fill up over time? Or am I wrong at that? If they do fill up up, what do you do with once they are? Do you just format them and start over again? Or am how I am thinking this works all wrong?

i jut buy harddrives and use plotting cloud to make the plots then download them to the harddrive.. i like that i can specify what pool i want to use.. i looked into evergreen but its stuck at the one pool.

Couldn’t say that any better. They are selling used drives, somehow that gets translated into being green, folks how long do you think a drive will run before it fails? These aren’t enterprise versions of drives.

I think HDD "mining" or how us nerds say "farming" 🤣 is def still early as Depin is still really early. But I didn't go the "evergreen" route and just used the hundreds of harddrives I had at the shop for mine so my expenses were a little different lol
