Koreans have a distinct accent when they speak English that Koreans can pick out. And while she doesn't have a strong Korean accent like those who never lived abroad, you can still hear that accent. She most likely lived in the US for a little bit based on her accent. Not long enough to speak English with a perfect accent, but enough to speak it much better than those who never left the country.

Sonny is truly a brave man and you just have to love his delightful and animated tour guide!

I've eaten (well, tasted) some of the food mentioned here and most of Korean exotic food. None of it ever made it to my list of favorites! I couldn't make myself eat heongo (skate), raw liver and pupa. I've attempted many times but would start gagging and heaving even before the food touched my lips. Hats off to both of you!!

Sonny is really smart.. Very informative and entertaining vlogs everytime. So consistent.

For people wanting to try the chicken "butthole", it isn't actually the butthole of a chicken hahaha 닭똥집 is chicken gizzard, like the second stomach or sand pouch I think it's also called. Guess it's way more adventurous to call it the butthole though loll Also thanks for the vid as always Sonny!

I know it’s 3 years late but in Thailand, there is a literally grilled chicken butt. It’s the base of its tail and it’s so oily because that’s where its oil gland is.

Can i be honest, my parents dont always go to places where they drink, buut when they do they dont look away.....and they always drop the chairs before leaving

My moms boss will be taking me to south Korea next year on his bi-annual business/family trip next year, going to learn to cook every south Korean dish I can in those months.

In Jamaica we say eating the butt of the chicken causes one to talk a lot. Lol. We use the tripe of the goat and cow in soup. As well as the heads of both animals. We are not all that different. Love it.

The raw beef and egg yolk is absolutely one of my favorite things to eat on earth, steak tartare in all forms is a fantastic thing. I have never tried the living octopus or squid but it is something I could definitely see myself liking, and would love to try it. it looks so tender and fresh and mild, like lovely sashimi. this channel makes me crave weird things, time to go find a nice butcher to get some raw beef from.

That fish is kinda like swedish surströmming (?) except it's a, well... stingray?, surströmming is also fermented fish, like a delicassyish in sweden, good video as always :)

Hi. I am a korean who hated the amonia food till about 40 years old but after that the food became my favorite one. If I drink a lot of alcohol with the amonia food, my stomach and vowel is no problem. There are very few korean people like the food because its too much smelly but we all believe the food makes our stomach healthy. People say every people who often eat the amonian food never ger stomach cancer.

Amonia is alkaline in nature and your stomach needs acidity to function properly, I'm not too sure about cancer but amonia is definitely not good for any part of your body... :)

This dude is so Minnesota, he’s real, sarcastic, funny and fun to watch. Keep it Goin sunny. Let me know if you ever wanna make a trip down to Jacksonville Florida I’m a Minnesotan but I’m here now. I went to culinary school that look Cordon Bleu but I never got into a career of cooking due to health issues I started having when I was 12 I lost my kidneys. Now things have progressed and I do everything from a wheelchair because I’ve lost both of my legs and my right hand. But I still cook regularly from my wife and myself and if you were interested in showcasing our one and the guy that’s right handed but only has his left hand left makes a great Meal get back to me.

It's funny how Sonny and the girl were both nodding their heads when they were tasting the food even though the girl didn't really like it and Sonny's face was a little red. 4:30
