Cool ranking! For me, their best effort isn´t a studioalbum though but their "comeback" live album "Another lesson in violence"! Killer song collection, ultra sound and Baloff is hilarious!

my personal favorite live album since 1997

"Bonded..." and "Tempo..." totally deserve to be up there! I totally agree. "Fabulous..." would rank way higher on my list. I´ve got some issues with the band since they use Sneap as a producer. I absolutely despise modern production! The sound can ruin a whole album for me no matter how good the songs are. For example: I can´t listen to the new Flotsam record, songwriting, vocals and performance is over the top but when I put it on the sound makes me just puke! BUT: Thank god we all have different taste, it would be boring if everybody would listen to the same stuff, wouldn´t it? Plus: It would make the whole idea of the VC pointless, hahaha.... Great ranking, thank you!

I agree with your list I can't believe how good persona is sometimes bands do bad albums later in their careers. I also like another lesson in violence best live album

Cheers. Yeah Persona is a great album. I remember a lot of people not liking Zetro's vocals as they were saying he was giving it too much aggression, at least the wasn't phoning it in. Thanks for watching and commenting

@@mrboulder9714 no problem - I enjoyed your video. One thing you didn't mention was the solos. I know most people hate Force of Habit album, but it features what are in my opinion some of the best H-Team Guitar Solos they have ever done - One Foot In The Grave, Count Your Blessings, A Good Day To Die. I think there's a lot of Exodus stuff that's so underrated. First off - the very band is so underrated it is insane. For me personally they're probably the best Thrash band of all time, or at least top 3. Then Gary Holt for me personally is one of the best guitar players of all time - or at least one of the best Metal Guitar players of all time. And 3rd I believe Impact is Imminent and Force of Habit are seriously underrated albums within the Exodus music catalougue. I guess I'm biased because those were the first two albums that I discovered as a kid in 1993 / 1994, but even today I still consider them fantastic. I wish they sounded like the 2000s Exodus with Andy Sneap producing.

Great list. It took me a bit to discover how good Exodus is. My first album I got of theirs was Force of Habit, this did not inspire me to hunt down their other albums until Tempo of the Damned came out and I gave them another try. Wow am I glad I did

Great ranking video. Do struggle a lot with the Duke era, can't stand his vocals. Fabulous would be higher up for me, low rider is not a good song...... Pleasure is also one that would be higher. But the two top picks I do agree with, excellent albums. Cheers.

Great Video James …Bonded is def my favorite album too…I’d probably have Pleasures next , as you said the first side is awesome, brings back some good memories Not very familiar with the Dukes stuff but I did buy Shovel Headed last week, have yet to listen to it…and I still haven’t heard the latest album yet 😳 Great Stuff Mate 🤘💀

A band I've never listened to as I only own Bonded which I bought recently which I like and I will pick up some more in the future but I'm not too fussed. Nice ranking gives me a few pointers 🤘🏻

Hi james i was just putting mine onto a bit of paper whilst watching you and mine was pretty much identical except i had pleasures of the flesh at number 1 as thats where i first come in on exodus and testament as a spotty little 15 year old in 1987 lol. The spots went soon after but sadly did my hair at 24 dammit lol however that album has stuck with me ever since. Great video once again, cheers

Interesting to hear your thoughts on these albums James. I only know their first few and the latest one, good to see it ranked so highly. Bonded by blood is such a classic it would be hard for it not to be at no. 1. Nice one.

Great job with this ranking Mr. B. As a few people have said Andy Sneaps production is not the best at all. To over produced, just meh really, although I do like his drum sounds. That being said I had BBB at three, and Tempo at 2?! I can’t remember. I was surprised at Fabulous and Pleasure so low, but hey I won’t argue

Imo, every Exodus album has some amount of filler tracks on them! I’m not a hater of Rob Dukes vocals, but it just doesn’t sound like Exodus without Zetro! I’d have ‘Fabulous Disaster’ way higher, but you’re number one, is most peoples number one I’d say! Great video & always good to see you James!🤘🏻

Nice ranking James! A lot I agree with you on, but I haven't listened to them all yet. I still have Impact and Habit to go! Then I can make a proper ranking vid. I agree with you about Fabulous Disaster, not as great as I thought it was going to be. Exhibit B as well, 2nd half drops massively. Blood in, Exhibit A and Bonded are all fantastic. I don't agree with Tempo however, it never really clicked with me bar a few tracks. Cheers man 😀🤘🤘

Super cool video. The best thing about 'Force of Habit' is the cover artwork which I genuinely like. I agree that there are some fine songs on that album though. I'm not a big fan of 'Pleasures of the Flesh' mainly because of the production (I don't hate it though).My no. 1 would probably be 'Fabulous Disaster' or 'Impact Is Imminent'. I saw them live with Rob Dukes once. TBH it was a bit underwhelming. I mean they were good, but Death Angel who'd played earlier put on such a great show that neither Exodus nor Kreator (who were headliners) could do much to match them. Have you heard Hatroit by the way? Great Zetro-fronted thrash.

Never seen Fabulous ranked so low but I do agree it's not the stellar release it's made out to be. I still don't mind it though. Bonded isn't to me what it's made out to be either. Tempo is my fave and Impact is average. I've not got the rest. Force of Habit was dross my mate bought the vinyl when It came out, I'd still like to get hold of that tho lol

Yeah Force is shite, I bet that OG vinyl is quite expensive too

That reissue of bonded by blood is worth more than the original. They go for 150 and above for the high roller.
