I know Kyungsoo doesn’t have as many high notes as Chen and Baek, but vocals aren’t all about high notes. Kyungsoo’s specialties are his riffs, runs, and melismas. the thing about exo is that they actually live up to their popularity/name. them representing south korea as kings of kpop, should not be questioned why at all. everyone always looks down at exo thinking they are just visual group and there’s nothing more to them. Little do they know if they bothered to check up on them, actually exo is home to one of the best dancers in kpop, one of the best vocalists in kpop, one of the best idol actors of kpop. its not just their visuals, even their personality, their humbleness and most importantly their talents. thats why they got SO many fans, even 7 years into their debut. thanks for reading good day mate

Honestly, I totally ignored EXO’s existence since they debuted because I am a hardcore Super Junior stan. Even though Heechul introduced EXO and all SUJU members were always telling us to support their hoobaes, I don’t really spend time looking them up because I fell so hard with Super Junior and I totally live in the Blue Sapphire World and ELF Kingdom. I’ve heard EXO members name being said by SuJu a lot of times and I just don’t care at that time. It’s 2021 and I’m not so fond of facebook but due to boredom, I browsed my newsfeed and came across with EXO’s Melon Music Awards 2016 performance and I was literally stunned! I was mesmerized by the short dance performances of their hit songs Growl, Overdose and Call me Baby. Then, individual dances of Kai, Lay and Sehun plus amazing fanchants were truly amazing! What more to it was the live performance of their song Monster that left me dumbfounded! It was not perfect but they did it almost perfect! I thought I’d only love Super Junior for the rest of my fangirling life but recently, I’ve been so busy watching all EXO’s videos and memorizing their awesome songs. P.S. My favorite EXO member is D.O. P.S.S. SuJu is still my number 1 and please EXO, don’t take me away from SuJu 😂

I need kyungsoo SOLO or sub unit... xiumin & suho need a lot of chance for their voice to be heard...and i rememer watching xiumin audition and his singing sound lovely..Suho also will appear in Musical “The Last Kiss”... chanyeol slowly to show his voice... Sehun rap at Elyxion Seoul is amazing even it hard to focus on his voice coz of his abs... I love it when this maknae sing, his hyung like kyungsoo will smile while looking at him proudly... Lay high note jang!! i miss him... Kai milky voice in sing for you...kai also need a chance to be in sub unit.. maybe him..kyungsoo n chanyeol can be in 1 unit.. d.o Sarang I know! That's why I said that bcuz majority of fans were hoping of SKY subunit. They already have CBX which a subunit oriented on vocal & members with bright, smooth, high tones. SKY would be their another perfect subunit which consisted of members with dark, heavy & sensual tones that focused on rap & hiphop genre & its subgenres. They're also the tallest members, visual line & the "models" of the group. They gonna be perfect with Chanyeol stand as main vocal & main rapper, Kai as main dancer & lead vocal while Sehun as lead dancer & lead rapper😍😍

I just think it sucks that YG coaches value sounding unique over singing naturally and heathily. Even if some YG idols sound great, by their 30s they will have fried vocal cords (we already see this in Park Bom).

i think its because they put alot of importance on vocals. most of the time only good vocalists can debut with SM. even if you've trained forever, they might debut trainees who've only trained for a few months (chen, baekhyun) if they have good vocals.

I'm not saying that they're the best vocal group in Kpop but that's exactly what I'm saying.

popular opinion : How I started the K-Pop with another group and ended with loving these EXO(Extra Ordinary) people. Seriously EXO members are like 'Gem" in the whole musical industry. I mean it's a whole package of talented people. They are precious gifts to us. I hope more people become their fan and support them. They are like the heart and brain of the kpop industry.

Agree completely. DO is acting genius and because of his movies and dramas many discover Exo everyday. Baek, chen solo performances are attracting new people. Kai, sehun as models do their part. Suho, chanyeol and xiumin also through their solo careers contribute to Exo.

I like EXO's song because there are not much rap but instead a note that emphasizes their Good Vocals

Xiumin, Suho and Lay can do beter than what the producers assign them to sing. Those greedy producers are b***hes really. Lay has got better judgement. The song he composed (Promise) has equal distribution to all vocal lines (main and lead). Kai even got to hit high notes. But baby Sehun only talks at the end.

To be fair, Chen's whistle note at 6:15 is also pretty damn impressive. They're both too good at high notes. Especially since I've actually done vocal exercises and training and can confirm I've only ever hit that note once in my entire 18 years of life. Though I'm a baritone and Chen's a high alto-high soprano (when he gets "high") so I'm probably screwed out of that oppurtunity.

Well, you can't really say that Chen has the best vocals in the Kpop industry To stay with EXO, everyone has a unique voice Like, Chen has a really high voice that helps him hitting high notes - of course Kyungsoo has the control over his voice, like, literally nobody has the control over their voices like he has And Baekhyun has the ability to hit very high but also pretty low notes So everyone has their talent and I think that makes everyone into the best vocalists, in their own kind of way, you know what I mean? ^^
