But the kings of kpop is BIGBANG you should check to thier songs they are so lits and a true kings..some of the members are in the military to fufill there mandatory military service. EXO is a South Korean-Chinese Kpop group with 9 members, initially had 12 members separated as two subgroups EXO-K & EXO-M. They formed in 2011 debuting on April 8, 2012 under SM Entertainment. EXO's story started since their debut. In a nutshell, EXO are from EXO Planet & each member has a super power. Their enemy Red Force is constantly after them for their powers. (Note: Sometimes EXO's MVs has little to do with the song itself. It might be more focused toward contributing to their concept & super powers story line. The theory for Monster is that the Red Force had captured EXO except for Beakhyun, who manage to pretend to be one of the Red Force & manage to help EXO escape)

I could never really get into EXO, but it's really cool being able to see them through your eyes. Though I'm Army, I'm always looking to know more about other groups/artists; reactions like yours help a lot. And yes, there's some tension between immature Army and EXO-Ls, but the truth is all Kpop artists work really hard and are multitalented in their own right. Hello! Thank you for your reaction to EXO! The band's name is pronounced as a word: EKSO - EK (like in "heck"). Regarding the MV, the storyline and the lyrics don't really match. Explaining this song is always a bit hard, lol, because everyone ended up interpreting it in different ways.The way I see it, the lyrics talk about a guy who's trying to win a girl's heart, but since she closes up her heart/doesn't let him in, he ends up getting obsessed with her; and instead of wooing her nicely, gently, he'll be start being straightforward and bold. So, he says that "in a monster-kind of way", he'll creep into her heart and "win her over" because, even if she doesn't want to admit it, she's attracted to him... and he knows that. The lyrics use lots of verbs that are related to how a monster (creatures) behaves, moves, acts... that sort of thing. Monsters are not particularly known for being gentle in any way, so that's why you will find verbs such as "creep", "flip", "break". We're not talking about psychos or rapists or anything of the sort here, but just about... monsters (I don't know if you get the idea.)... of course, it's all figurative speech. Anyway, this is my own interpretation. I guess it would be good if you looked up the translation of the lyrics yourselves. I suggest looking them up in colorcodedlyrics.com/2016/06/exo-monster On the other hand, in the storyline in the video (according to what the band members explained themselves) they are rebels fighting against suppression. They end up getting captured, though. BaekHyun (the one who takes off the mask at the end and who you were curious about) appears to be a betrayer, especially because he, unlike the rest of the members in the whole video, doesn't have any wounds on his face nor is he arrested. However, he ultimately finds a way to help his members escape by turning off the security cameras and such. He's a double-agent. That's why the last scene is him opening the back doors of the van and taking off the mask to show them it's him... and then you see them walking away together. I hope this helped you understand, at least the video, a bit better. :)

The only rivalry is between the fandoms. I'm a multi-fan so I love them both & think the rivalry is dumb. Especially since EXO & BTS are actually close with each other. Also the Kings of K-pop are Big Bang. You should check them out. Most of them are in the Military as of right now. I can't wait for them to get out & do a come back tour. P.S. Korean males must do a 21 month military service before a certain age. Just an fyi.

The song does not match the video...trust me...look up the lyrics...and depending on how u take it, u can take it as a toxic relationship or one like 50 shades of grey....he even calls her goddess in the beginning of the song....they say that they are creeping into your heart in the chorus....they say it in English...however the video from what I've read and heard is they response to what happened in Ferguson..a couple of years back...with all the riots....I don't think I'm wrong only because EXO is very aware of what is go8ng on around the world and what's those involved to know that they stand with them...if I am wrong please someone correct me...and i will gladely say ghank u for the info...but u all know how EXO is....
