Great review and info about Exmark mowers and support. Totally understand getting good support and service as it's hard to find great service and support with a lot of dealers now days as service and support after the sale is not what it used to be. Getting great deals at the sale and support and service afterwards days are gone. Like trying to find machines and automobiles that at least you can change to oil on of fix the simple things without have a computer module to reprogram or telling you that a dealer is need to fix it. Then if you do parts are arm and leg and you have to have special tools which also cost a lot. Going fast are the days you can do your own work without paying outrageous prices. So are the days of having your own mechanic who does a better job most of the time and gives you a reasonable price to fix your problems. Disposable part too that end up in land fields when used to they we're recyclable a couple of times at least and some forever till they finally quit making it or replace it with plastic parts that aren't recyclable and still end up in a land field. Thanks again for a honest and great review and guess better end my soapboxing as sure some will disagree but if we look around cheaper faster made parts and things are filling our world with unrecyclable things and the latest and supposedly greatest. Have a great day.

I just picked up the 2024 Lazer Z 72 inch X series with the 37HP Vanguard with the 6 quart oil guard system. I started with a radius. It’s a nice mower but once you get on this you see why my new x series is $25,000

Nice review. I’m fortunate to have a great Exmark dealer here locally. We have run 5 older Lazer Z’s that are all pre 2000 models and a 2013 Toro Grandstand. I have repowered all our Lazer Z’s. The Grandstand still has the original engine. I refuse to spend $12k + for another mower. As long as I can still get replacement parts, I’m going to keep these mowers going.

@Edward Kane I'm pretty jealous cuz I absolutely love this mower tbh and I wish I kept this mower pretty much for ever as I'd love to. But unfortunately some changes will have to be made and unless I move or we get a new exmark dealer near me....I won't buy another unless its used and for the right price lol. I've got a video coming sometime next week to elaborate on what's been going on

Love the jack on the mower. All should have it, manual or a power option. It seems to be very user friendly for operation and maintenance. Having the deck wider than the machine is also good for eliminating trimming around gardens. Seems like it's been a great mower for you. As you know, I am JD Green lol but I am thinking about checking out Ferris for my next sit or stand on with more HP. Great video Jon! 😊

Excellent review Jon! I think ExMark underpowers most of their mowers. We never got 400 hrs on our Exmark deck belts , your lucky 😉I can't stand our ExMark dealer. That's why I'm with Ferris now. I really love the magnetic pin adjustment on the deck height and that jack mounted on the mower looks so useful👍

Solid review brother...nice machine. I like the jack on the front for servicing. I am not a fan of the sight glass fuel window myself. I agree on the steering and had that issue with the Toro I had, but just sold that mower. I have had the same "complaint" you could say about my JD with power...I have the same motor on my ZTrak and it is 1250+ lbs dry. I wish I had the FX921 on it. I have 3 JD dealers within 30-40 minutes of my house. Great stuff brother, keep grinding!!💪👊💯

I did, the radius was quite a bit lighter than the Lazer z and we get alot of rain in the spring time on my area, and it would tear up yards enough as it was. And I had a set budget to spend, I don't remember the price of the Lazer z here at my dealership but it was considerably more for what I was wanting ti stay under

Im on the fence looking for a zero turn in the 8 to 10k range. Ive used lazer Z models in the past, 10hrs a day 4 days a week in ruff terrain. Dependable, for sure. Not great in wet, soft terrain. Hills (banks)...go backwards at an angle. Severely under powered.

My best advice is what ever is closest to your home (shop). I ended up going with huslter and they were the best for me. 15 mins away from my house and had 0 issues with high hour equipment. Between the bad boy and scag in my opinion the scag is a bit overpriced but is a great machine and cut well in my area

I'd say your deck isn't 100% adjusted right. Exmark is honestly one of the best cutting mowers. Then again it could be the smaller deck. If I remember right the s model and the x model have completely different decks, not just sizes but different baffles and air flow. That could be why (Even though it's a brand new mower it still can be off due to the dealership not assembling correctly or shipping errors ect.)
