[EXID&BTS] This Is Why Fanwars Don't Make Sense

First of all, I didn't plan to do this video AT ALL. Certain fans of both fandoms made me do it. There's a great lack of respect and empathy, and not only towards idols, but between us.
If you want to know with more details what happened, keep reading. I'm going to be very objective here because I'm a big fan of both groups and as a logical and honest person, I see mistakes when there are.

Everything started with Jimin's fancam of "Fake Love" surpassing the views of the most famous Hani's fancam. Hani's fancam of "Up&Down" had been the most viewed for almost 4 years.
When this happened, social media went a little bit crazy about the matter. ARMY were very happy and some LEGGO congratulated Jimin, the group and the fandom.
Some ARMY were underestimating Hani's fancam (especially those who don't know nothing about her and EXID) and some LEGGO defended Hani and the girls since Hani's fancam isn't only the reason why fancams became a thing (even in music shows), but also saved the group from disbandment because "Up&Down" became a hit thanks to it.
But, just a few days later, a lot of the views of Jimin's fancam were removed by KZread because those were from mass streaming and KZread's new policy is very severe with mass streaming and the incorrect visualization of views, and Hani's fancam became once again the most viewed.
LEGGO were happy and some ARMY weren't. Some even said that the reason why it lost views was because LEGGO reported Jimin's fancam (reporting a video DELETES it, not its views), acussing LEGGO of something that it's not true.
From that moment, some ARMY and some LEGGO began to discuss among themselves, because those ARMY were offended to read that the importance of Jimin's fancam would never be equivalent to Hani's (which is true for its history, although it's different for the majority of ARMY).
This is how Hani began to receive insults, to be criticized for the clothes she has on the fancam and the sexy choreography ("porn" for some) of "Up&Down". In other words, people were slut-shaming her and calling her talentless without knowing NOTHING about her.
Guys, that can't be allowed. In the 21st century, the fact that a woman can't trust herself by exposing her body and acting sensually because she is going to be called a whore is shameful and disgusting. Male idols can have sexy concepts, be shirtless, move their pelvis sensually and touch their cocks, but if a woman does exactly the same thing, she's a bitch? Really? Please, grow up.
EXID fans got angry and because of that, a few couldn't contain themselves and did just as badly when they began to criticize Jimin and BTS without reason (since the problematic fans were at fault). The argument got bigger and "ended" in a bittersweet way, and I say "ended" because there are still people who continue with the matter.

That is the reason why I made this video. Not only certain people have disrespected both groups, especially Hani and Jimin, but also discredited their friendship indirectly with so many damaging comments. It's time for us to learn to behave properly and to be respectful of others.
If someone is disrespectful, it's good to try to reason with the person, but if the situation doesn't advance, reporting and blocking is the solution.
Either way, I hope you enjoyed the video! These two groups are honestly one of the best things that happened in my teens and I couldn't be more proud of them. It's cute that some are friends and in general they have a good relationship. So, you know, stop with all the bullshit if you caused some of it.

First of all: in the two pictures of Hani pointing at the camera like a freak, she was yelling to a fan because it was raining and she didn't want the fan to get wet and catch a cold. Secondly: this video is unexpected for the followers of this channel. I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to see. It wasn't in my plans to do it, but I had to edit it after reading some comments of certain fans of BOTH groups. The reason why I did it is entirely explained in the description of this video, you can read it or not, but I think it's really important for LEGGO and ARMY to know what happened just a week and a half ago in the fandoms. I just want to say that we need to be respectful to others. EXID and BTS, especially Hani and Jimin, received a lot of shit without reason just because of two fancams. In my case, I could see the discussions of both fandoms in KZread and Twitter, but I'm sure it reached other social medias too. BTS and EXID are coming back in August. We should be excited and stop arguing and acting like kids over such matters. Also (this is EXID related, so you can stop reading if this isn't of your interest), Solji is the new King of Masked Singer! We couldn't see her face, but it's her. I'm sure 100%. I'm so happy and proud and I missed her and I missed her voice. Did you see the pictures of their debut in Japan with "Up&Down"? And the teaser of the MV? And the fact that EXID is going to be complete again after two years? OT5 IS COMING! Honestly half the ppl who complained about jimin breaking the fancam views record dont even listen to exid regularly nor do they support them on their comebacks. Fan wars and shippers just doesn't make sense to me. For example when you're obsessively pairing each other, and someone else doing the same shit and you're getting mad because your male/female idol is being shipped with another one. And insisting that your shipping is a "soulmate" for each other... Or when you think your male biased can't be in relationship because he have to love anyone but his fans... #irritating101

Thank you for this. I saw many ARMY commenting that BTS doesn't even know who EXID are and it annoyed me but I had to bite my tongue so I didn't say anything bad and dishonour EXID and our fandom. These two groups are friends and have been for years. I hope both sides can realize this.

The ARMY fandom is growing so fast, there are loads of fans who do not know kpop beyond BTS. But anyone who has ventured around the kpop universe will know who EXID is. The guys at BTS listen to music extensively. They'll know more groups than any kpop fan ever will.
Also, I think Hani's fancam is much important than Jimin's, Jimin literally just got mass streaming, youtube even had to take down a lot of views, while no one streamed Hani's, it just became viral, so I think hers is much more honorable than Jimin's. (I'm both a LEGGO and an ARMY, so I'm not trying to spread hate)

Actually, Jimin's fancam went viral in Korea for a whole week, but as you said, Hani's fancam is much more important because of its history. Which in no way discredits Jimin's fancam and his hard work.

I Love EXID Exactly! Hani achieved the same amount of views without being famous at all, allowing her to save the group, and making fancams an official thing! I love both of them, and Jimin really dances flawlessly! But as we have already said, it is not as important as Hani's, since he is already famous. (Again, I'm not trying to throw shade on anyone)

I also want to point out how the 92 liners truly are a close close group of friends bc they all end up saying the same/similar things in variety?!?!?! Like for example, Hani, Jin and Ken have all said something along the lines of 'if it tastes good, there's no calories.' Another example of this is when Jin in their Drinking Broadcast and Hani in their Buzzfeed Interview both said something along the lines of 'the face completes the look. Jin followed up by saying therefor he is the only 10 amongst 8s while Hani followed up by dissing Hyelin by implying that none of her looks are complete bc of her face XDD They share a similar brand of humor kekek. Speaking of fashion, Hobi and Hyelin can seriously be fashion twins bc their outfits are both the same brand of outlandishness. Believe it or not a lot of these groups have a tremendous amount of respect for each other. I also agree fan wars are really really childish and silly. There are more important things to worry about than this. I love both groups and I see a lot of similarities between the two, they both have had to fight to get to where they are today, especially EXID, so I have a tremendous amount of respect for both groups and I wish each of them nothing but the best. I am a huge fan of both of them as well. Love and respect to BTS and EXID from Cali.

Soljis Cute Laugh J-Hope is a fanboy. And BTS is my favorite boy group and they are sweethearts and very talented, but it's true that ARMY is one of the fandoms with the most toxicity, especially because it's one of the bigger ones, but that isn't BTS' fault.

fanwars are the reason I'm not on Twitter the simplest things can get a bunch of immature oversensitive fans pissed and messes everything up for the fandom in the long run I always have to wait for news from Insta or FB or just korean tv in general and it sucks because the place where important updates come from is full if more drama than its worth and its frustrating being late for events and stuff especially being multifandom

안재재 BTS' comeback is at the end of August, just like EXID's debut in Japan (and Solji is back with them). EXID's comeback in Korea will be in a few months before the end of the year.

The fact that they’re friends makes me so happy so I’m glad I’ve been enjoying these groups without having to personally run into pointless fanwars. i was an army before but i'm not anymore. it's not because of bts themselves but because of the majority of the fans or the toxic fans. i say majority because not all armys are toxic and they have respects but there are too many toxic ones in the fandom so people will call armys as "the toxic fandom" but i've seen a lot of armys that are kind, nice, and respects others like for example, this comment section! i really hate fanwars, especially that social media blew up in this generation so there are a lot of people that aren't suitable for social medias yet but they use them so they have like a "childish" attitude so that is why i like 2nd gen better :) (THIS IS MY OPINION just saying :) )
