Oem + Arrow midpipe just spot on. Not too loud or silent, lovely raspy sound

well done !! i did the rotty intake arrow cat-con & cannister delete arrow ti silencer and pre program power commander kit , i had to put the 'DB' killer back in as it was just too loud without it now that i hear this i think the stock muffler with the rest of the kit may have been the move ?
Ottimo 👌🏻 Video
Cheers Hoagie 👍

Can a cat delete damage my engine, in any way? Id like to just add a straight mid pipe.

No it can not. What is much worse is that modern engines leave the factory while they are much to lean. Making the engine and the valves much to hot. It even could be when riding in very hot weather that it really is hurting the engine. A bit richer fuel mix is better. In Germany you can get a very high fine when you have removed the Cat. So be sure that it will not be a problem in your country.
It is probably the worst sounding engine i have ever heard on a bike. It does not have a good engine sound. Like something is starting to breakdown. Hard to discribe what i feel with that engine. The T7 has a much better sound. You can feel that the T7 engine has a much longer life. Does anyone know what the longest miles a ktm 890 has done so far ? I reckon that with 40000 miles the engine has to be replaced. I like the Norden 901 as a bike but not the engine itself.
Thank you!
