    I've always been kind of a nobody too. But now that I took the muffler off my scooter, people are finally noticing me. I love it.

    I ran on myn2015 ultra limited the V&H power duals head pipe w 4 in Rineharts and V&H FP3 runer and i loved the tone of the bike. But i ran prior gutted HD OEM head pipe w 4 in Rineharts and had huge gains in notable power. Also just a Arlan Ness Big Sucker breather which beat my right knee to death. The HD head pipe minus Cat makes very noticable power differences. Even with stock mufflers

    Lemmy: Think you can do a review and what you'd mod on a FZ07? You guys should do a stock review of bikes and than mod them up with the best stuff in your shop to show how people can make them their own with RevZilla flair. Great Vids!

    If someone doesn’t want any sounds wouldn’t they just stick with the stock ones? After the M8 came out the stock exhaust got louder and sounds pretty good. Nothing will best a twin cam with some Vance and Hines tho

    What ever happened to the extended drag pipes that arched upwards and elevated above the bike itself. Name of brands and legality would be cool. Can you list some that are still available for Harley Motorcycles.

    This will be a great upgrade to give your bike a bit more rumble, as well as upping the volume without going overboard, since it does have a baffle (which can be removed if you ever DO want to annoy the neighbors): www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/rinehart-4-slip-on-muffler-for-harley-softail-sport-glide-2018-2019 -Zack

    If you aren't attached to the dual muffler look, then yes, going with a 2-into-1 exhaust can take advantage of exhaust scavenging for gains as well as weight savings. -DrewZilla

    Save your self some money and cut the baffles out the slip-on's. Also if you would like more noise you can buy OEM headers with the Cadillac converter removed or find somebody locally that can cut your OEM headers open remove the Cadillac converter and then welding back. Speaking from experience it's better to be heard first before you are seen. If you need any information on cutting the baffles out your stock slip-ons they have KZread videos here that show how to do it . They have different ones just find the one that would be easiest for you.

    So what you're saying is that if I were to get a full system I would need a tuner? As well as it it would need to be put on the dyno? Which harley charges 1000 bucks to do

  • @RevZilla

    @RevZilla

    5 жыл бұрын

    It wouldn't necessarily need a dyno tune. You can a tuner with auto-tune functionality (and generally, auto-tune isn't even necessary in most cases). The Vance & Hines FP3 is the most popular. While the tuner costs money, it's less than paying the dealer every time you want to modify your bike. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-fuelpak-fp3-autotuner-for-harley-2011-2019

    Consulting with all the Harley Geeks here, we'd recommend the Vance & Hines 4" Monster Rounds. They have a nice deep sound while still being 'radio-friendly'. Keep in mind, though, that the M8 engine has a different sound than the Evo and TC motors. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-4-monster-rounds-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-touring-2017

    My advice would be, leave your Harley bone stock. Do not peel off any information stickers, add on no accessories what so ever. It should be 100% factory. like it just came out of the factory and never arrived at the dealership. The exhaust should be factory quiet so you can hear the mechanical noise the engine makes. Install loud mufflers and you can not hear the rhythmic music of the engine thus ruining your riding experience and making your motorcycle sound cheap and reworked. Making your bike loud will be telling the world that you have a very small penis and an uninteresting bike. 100 % bone stock and 100 % factory.

    Can't tell if you're being facetious or not with the comment about the stickers. But I'm leaving my new Street Glide stock as far as the exhaust goes. No Stage 1, no new air-box, fuel mapping, etc. I'll add some accessories and that's about it.

    And I guess you ride something without a Harley Badge. If you don’t like them find some other channel. Anyone that doesn’t understand the beautiful sound of a Harley is either deaf or just weird.
