Exercise Joint Warrior JW19.1 | Glasgow Prestwick Airport | April 2019

The first day of activity at Glasgow Prestwick Airport with the various aircraft and helicopters prepared to take part in the twice-yearly exercise.
The day started off with the arrival of the German Navy P-3 Orion which performed a go-around, before coming back into land. Thereafter it was a mix of Royal Air Force/Royal Navy Hawks training along with Cobham Falcon FA20s.
A Royal Canadian Air Force C-130J Hercules then departed on its flight across the pond, followed later by the arrival of a Royal Norwegian Air Force Hercules.
Overall it was a very good day with plenty of activity to see.

nice to see the locals in action up there hawks from culdrose along with the mirlins and the dusults from bournemouth all regualars localy for tuesday and thursday wargames off plymouth
