With all due respect, the vast majority of the mandates for health care workers came down from the Provincial government and not the federal government, as health care in Canada is regulated provincially and not federally. The federal government funds health care to a certain degree through health transfer Canada, but the provincial and territorial governments are responsible for the management, organization and delivery of health care services for their residents. But I also believe in the PPC when reading their platform. I noticed that the CPC has too many liberals on their team and that's the problem with the party. Mr O'TOOLE also failed when he ran on one policy and once elected changed how he ran the party you can't have some members on the left and some on the right. Maxime Bernier is a quebecoise and a Frenchman but is always on the right and not left or right depending on the day.

He never answered the question, just pointed out that Trudeau has done way worse. And spouted bilious catch phrases doing it. The reality is that they liked the fact that Christine Anderson eviscerated Trudeau in front of the European Parliament and weren’t sharp enough to avoid someone with the racist label already firmly stuck on them. I really haven’t checked out her bio yet.

I did not like his comment about Christine Anderson. Trudeau was applauding when he said she was “vile”, if indeed, that was true. She called Trudeau out as a tyrant, pathetic, narcissistic….ALL well deserved comments. She nailed it! Why didn’t Poilievre say “Thank you, Christine.” He should have jumped at the chance to commend her clear and honest description of Trudeau, who will go down in history as the one who tried to turn Canada into a Communist dictatorship! If he is voted in again, he actually might succeed, if Canadians don’t wake up!!

I think it comes down to this - Pierre is entitled to his opinion (whether it be right or wrong in our eyes) he is still entitled to it, just as we all are. This is what freedom of speech is. There is the age old saying that we should all live by - "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for you to have the right to say it".

With all due respect, the vast majority of the mandates for health care workers came down from the Provincial government and not the federal government, as health care in Canada is regulated provincially and not federally. The federal government funds health care to a certain degree through health transfer Canada, but the provincial and territorial governments are responsible for the management, organization and delivery of health care services for their residents.

Every day I see more and more people of all ages living in tents, RVs, or their vehicles due to the high cost of renting. It's sad that we have seniors who have to work to make ends meet. It's costly to even want the basics stuff when shopping for food, prices have skyrocketed. Not to mention heating oil bill is very high, hydro continues to increase. It's sad when I go into the super market anywhere now that there are very few people shopping, it's like a sifi movie. I'm a believer in Peirre Poiliever and the things he has mentioned time and time again that he will do things like take away the carbon tax and other things that he wants to do for our country. I've heard some people say that he sounds like all the policitions when they run for top job, and then when they get in, they don't fulfill what they said. I said really, just you watch Peirre.

He talks smooth talk, but we don’t really know if he’s going to be better or worst than j.t. He literally dodged the question about Christine and let the interviewer speak disgusting lies about her. Not that Pierre has to defend another politician, but if he doesn’t call out such blatant lies, there no trusting him.

Could we take out the influence of the United Nations, World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum on our Canadian policies? I am amazed at how Canadian policies and legislation are based on these outside, non-elected organizations. Our environmental policies like the carbon tax, the push to electric vehicles, farming restrictions on fertilizer, smart cities are based on ideas from NGOs. I am not fond of Canada signing up on the Pandemic Prepardness Treaty from the World Health Organization and the Agile Nation Charter from the World Economic Forum. These policies when enacted are not in the best interests of Canadians. I also fear the overreach of digital identification and digital currency. I am aware that the Unknown Traveler Digital Identification came as a partnership between Canada, the Netherlands, selected airports, biometrics and analysis companies with the World Economic Forum as the main party. We need Canadian policies for Canadians.

Don't think it's possible. People who support or are involved in government generally support hierarchy, in varying degrees. Those orgs you mention are just part of the pyramid, at which position I don't know. The politicians swear an oath to serve this hierarchy.

What was there to deny with what he was asked about a "European politician", nothing. He needs to be asked exactly about The statement. Not hiding behind the bush with meaningless questions. It is only silence about the statement. There is more to it than you think.

I abandoned PPC to rejoin the CPC because of Pierre and I voted for him for leader. But I still have my misgivings. Pierre never mentions Trudeau's unsustainable policy of mass migration that is adding to our housing crisis, medical crisis, driving up rents, adding pressure to our social services and competing for jobs. All while "EID" policies discriminate against legacy Canadians, especially white men, for govt and corporate jobs. Canadians are not replacing our own population by having babies. So mass immigration is the primary cause of these problems. Add to it, more importantly, the destruction of our culture, traditions and common values. Those are the ties that bind our country together. I get it. Pierre needs the immigrant vote. He never speaks of this. I hope he decreases immigration numbers substantially when he gets in. If he doesn't, many of us will go back to Maxime Bernier, who's policies are far superior. Then Pierre will have a conservative split again. "Liberal light" is NOT ok. Instead, follow Mike Harris' "common sense revolution" in Ontario that won him two terms. Put together sound conservative policies and SELL them to Canadians. WE ARE NOT A SOCIALIST COUNTRY!

@opencommentsbbcnewsnight1704 I would vote for Max over PP if he was still with the CPC. If it wasn't for Kevin O'Learys shenanigans, Max may have been the PM by now. He shouldn't have abandoned the CPC. I was in Alberta when the NDP won. That occurred because the Wildrose split the conservative vote. The Liberals are done, regardless of what the polls say. However, the NDP has a path to victory if Max gains enough support. You really need to think about that.

A lot of what he says makes sense but can't say I like selling off public property, his attitude toward environmentally minded people, needs to curb immigration, needs to really understand native history and stay away from sentimentalism to fix the emotional blackmail of the non-native population, it seems they get a lot of money anyway. Yes, give them power to run their own stuff and stop the reverse racism. Reconciliation is a joke, what does it actually mean? I care about everybody in this country, but there needs to fairness for all people not just certain groups.

I think that immigration needs to be curbed because we have such a broken system that it needs major repair and the people here already need to be taken care of first, (among them seniors, veterans, mentally ill, homeless, sick, regular working people). Adding more people just adds more stress and more problems therefore the system is never really fixed or maintained properly. Have a good day too fellow citizen!
