Why peter tried to shame the first black bachelorette for wanting a proposal . When you find out Rachel was going to be the bachelorette you can't tell you didn't look up any info on her . Besides you told her on your first date that your dad watched and she seems great . Either you are lying right now or you lied to Rachel on that date

Lastly, he said he didn't know she waned the proposal that much going in not while on the show. When he found out on the show, he made it clear that he wasn't ready and she had the choice to send him home but didn't

Edwige DAvid plus he was talking about how she was WIFE material when ET interviewd hiim at the first date. Going on about how 'easy' it was to 'FALL' for Rachel 'quickly ' SMH no talk of 'go slow' or precious proposal 'principles ' when he was eager to secure his spot lol !

If you're afraid of what people think of you, you will always be miserable. Accepting a position as "Bachelor" will only heightened those fears he has already. A man who is double-minded is unstable in all of his way. Oh snap, dropping that bible verse for ya.

@@destinychild4659 Bryan married Rachel since August 24th, 2019. Peter on the other is still single with a lots of emotional issues. Bryan is the real man and Peter is the fake one. Peter's ex girlfriend outed him out and it all there on RealitySteve. STOP DRINKING THE PETER KOOL AID!!

He's very scripted. You can tell he's not speaking freely. Thus probably not honestly... and we all saw how sneaky manipulative he can be on the bachelorette. I wouldn't trust this guy.

I woudn´t trust Bryan at all. I don´t see anything sneaky or manipulative about Peter. He is so real compared to most other candidates.

He speaks a good game but emotionally he IS NOT READY for serious love and marriage....unless he had someone to agree to dating 5-10 years while he emotionally gets ready to possibly propose!

I think he is ready for those. But he wanted to know for sure before he asked her hand. Totally normal and actually sane. How can you know for sure after 5 minutes. You can´t. You can, but it´s just fantasy. Smart guys wants something real and not just fantasy trips and things that are not real life and not based on impulse. He wants the deal thing. Not just fantasy.

I find it interesting watching these old interviews back because the whole situation with Peter is pretty much shoved in RnB’s faces yet hardly anyone rubs the fact that they’re happily engaged in Peter’s face. In fact, I don’t think I’ve heard Bryan’s name even mentioned to Peter (even though he so clearly enjoyed talking shit about Bryan throughout the season) ..Such an annoying double standard, really. Rachel & Bryan definitely deserved better than the shitty press storm they got.

I knew it - he was afraid of peoples opinion. I had a feeling he really cared for Rachel but there was something holding him back.

May all work out for Peter and his future, including in finding and having real love, preferably in real life vs. reality tv life. We'll see. In the meantime, best wishes to Rachel and Bryan, their future together w/ wishes for a real wedding next fall or winter of 2018.

It is amazing to see how many people dislike this man but still clicks on ALL his videos ...the hate is real ......#peteralltheway

Proposal may not be compulsory in your season Peter, but how would you be able to choose anyone in a short frame of time. It means you will lead the person away from the show only to let her down in the name of, you have discovered other things unsuitable. I still believe REAL WORLD is the best place for a careful guy like you to find love. If you want to be a bachelor to complete your bucket list, that will just be for the fun of it. I hope you don't end up like Nick. Good luck for your future - may you find the right person to love.

Good comments, all in all. Hopefully, Peter finds real love in real world vs. reality tv. Time will tell on that for sure. I think his values, etc. have merit, especially in real world, but hard to do or have in reality tv, imho. Best wishes to P.

Peter seemed really wasn't into rachel until he knew he was definitely losing her....when you know you know and he knew it wasnt rachel. He showed who he was..rach took to looong to believe it but eventually did. Most invested season....best ever.beautiful couple emerged..and great bachelors

It’s going to be the same length of time for a bachelor just like Rachel had. So if was to short to know for sure, why will it be different when you are a bachelor. So again he’s going to brake another girl heart that want to be engaged. It is the theme of that show.

Don't worry Peter, God have something else in store for you. So be happy.

Agreed. Hind sight is usually 20/20. If he really wanted her, he'd have changed his mind the next day but didn't do so in time. Obviously, there wasn't quite enough time in the timeline and process to make a final decision, IMHO. Best wishes to him, his future endeavors, etc., including finding real love sooner vs. later. Time will tell for sure.

I am so glad there are others see through Peter's lies. He should be an actor he played his part very well; but in the end Rachael realized she had a fake on hand, and played out his script. So karma is a bitch.

Liar Liar pants on fire. Can't seem to keep his story straight. Notice how the only compliments (besides him being handsome) Rachel ever said about Peter was that he was honest. I'm guessing when she found out he was full of shit, it was impossible for her to hide her complete disgust for him and that is what we saw at ATFR. But I think she understands now (especially after Dean's swift crash and burn) that all you have to do is sit back and wait for people's true colors to come out. Give them enough rope...all the while living your best life. Regardless of what Instagram fans or BS Life & Style articles Dean and Peter have, the real winners of this season are Rachel and Bryan.

The dislike for Peter will keep him from being the bachelor (which he wants). After the way he treated Rachel, he doesn't deserve it. And neither does the next group of women.

Peter is awesome. He is true to himself and I love that he didn't succumb to pressure to propose to Rachel. I don't think they were right for each other and she was forcing it. He's holding out for true love and that's totally respectable.

Good remarks, all in all. He is true to himself and wasn't ready to propose to her (Rachel). It may be for the best, who knows? Hopefully, he finds real true love for him and hopeful future fiancee / wife in the weeks to come. Values do matter, IMHO. Rachel did rush it and "force it" under the limited timeline that they were all on. Best to all of them.

Exactly, people care too much about beauty in America. That's why so many women get used by a hot man. I will go out with an average, less attractive man who loves me before I attach to a gorgeous man who looks at me as a side chick. It's about real commitment at the end of the day. Who cares about his beauty if he doesn't want to commit to you. I have a man committed and in love with me and so I told the hot guy goodbye just like Rachel did.
