Met James at the Oakland airport a few years back ...he was just waiting by himself to jump on a regular southwest flight to LA to do some guitar tracks for some kind of monster ....no private jet ...tried to just say hello and not bust his balls too much but he actually kept on chatting with me ..super cool dude

Firstly, that's the price for wanting to be famous. Once you decide to present yourself to the people, don't be surprised people look at you. If you want privacy, stay private and don't become public person. Secondly, Hetfield didn't even notice he was being filmed, so I'm sure he didn't feel stalked. Relax, man.

Der liebe Peter James has said, if you are respectful, then he will gladly take a picture or write an autograph. He loves his fans and he understands that he is a rockstar who is know world wide. But yea, it must kinda suck if you have 1 day off and people still crowd around you and want stuff. But it's cool if you just want a picture and then leave the guy alone.

This is pretty weird

it only shows, that even the biggest rock stars lead a normal life, and so is james. walk the streets, eat, take pictures...he's human, and a great guy! icon for sure.

As much as like to read and know more about James and see that he's like any dude on the street but I also feel for him being watched on all things he's doing

That was his choice once he decided to become public person years ago.

I thought he was already known by everyone in the world, but here like 99% of people still don't know whom they're passing by.

James is a huge part of my life, even tho i have never met him. Him and Metallica saved me from going into a superdeep depression. I bought his signature Snakebyte and Vulture guitar, and i play them religiously. And i can say one thing, if i ever met him i would just full on collapse from chock. It would be one of the best days of my life to meet him. But this video is not good, leave the man alone, he is just living his life and walking around France on his free time. And he deserves it. Leave him alone!

Crazy that he can even be alone for some minutes the fact he even dare to walk out like that is mind blowing. I guess if you see him in the streets not paying attention he looks like a regular guy, he is covered up a bit behind glasses too.
