It won't work with the delivery companies as they've done nothing wrong, they allow substitutes in their contract. It's really those idiots rent their accounts out to illegal immigrants. Now those people renting will now face karma because hmrc are asking for earning information from those accounts from 1st January and renters will be liable for the tax. I read many of groups, owners are requesting their accounts back and many drivers giving up.

i work as delivery driver legally in ireland on my name , i am eu citizen , it is not true that it is bad money. hourly pay can be as high as 30 euro per hour in peak lunch and dinner hours. Only problem is that these illegals are taking jobs from us, how by them working ilegally , we who are legal are getting less orders because there is so many of them who work ilegally they should be deported . here in ireland police dont even do checks on them which is disgrace. @@mishmash7776

People SHOULD be able to use delivery options without the fear of funding illegals. The gov't need to tackle this issue at it's source, stop the illegals coming in, then we won't need to waste taxpayers money & resources trying fix a broken system. No need for fines: just advise that they have to register every person using their app as an employee not a self contractor and they have to vet, tax, pay NI and then check their identity on every each one of them. You will find they will swallow a fine but - for that - they will go through the courts to stop.

on that note whilst I was bored outnof my mind sitting in the middle of pakistan with nothing to do I exerted immense mental effort in trying to develop a general method of mastering any Human language in as little as a few months. I can now read the Qur’an, and german texts no problem. I truly am a genius for coming up with this method. Illegal immigrants should pay me to teach them English they will learn enough for work in 2 weeks.

One delivery has them everywhere ... here in my cornish town i seen 20 of them in McDonalds loading bags of food for deliveries. They don't even speak basic English. They have nice cars and designer clothes?.

@@oomz1975The so called indigenous working class would rather complain than do a days work. They think these jobs are beneath them. They are failing in education, so skilled office based jobs are out the question. They do not have physical fitness due to poor diets and lack of exercise, so trades and labouring are something that is too demanding for them. They are mentally weak, which is the biggest factor that holds them back from working. This applies specifically to the young generation as the previous generations were tougher physically and mentally. It has taken decades of erosion of character since the WW2 to reach this stage. Even the Corporations can see this, as the new labour force will be replaced by AI, as most Corporate firms are leaning towards this. In a few simple words the young working class Brits are lazy and work shy, and turn their noses up at the few options they have. This is where the migrants step in.

I don't use them ,FULL STOP.

One caught, kick them right out and nail the employers financially.

This is why they should not be allowed to walk free. If they broke the law getting into the country, do you think they care about breaking it a second time.

@@HissyMcHissyfit Another detriment to our society that others don't take into account is that because of the rise in deliveroo, uber eats bike riders they will be changing the CBT law. CBT is currently every 2yrs but because of this they are talking of a pre CBT test or cutting it down a year. So to the detriment of the indigenous population who want to ride the test will be made harder or more expensive due to immigration by our so called GOV. Apart from the fact these deliveroos sit outside mcdonalds on there 20 odd bikes vaping on there phones bringing down the image of towns country wide so i'd like them gone altogether.

I think the Border Force are complicit in this, I've come across so many Brazilians who come in on a tourist visa, work illegally cash-in-hand - as cleaners here in London - and overstay the visa, they are desperate to marry a UK citizen to get legal status. I know as an ex- flatmate did exactly this, she is a lovely person but after just a month in the UK was desperate to get married and even openly said that then she would bring her 2 teenage sons over here because they would instantly become eligible for all benefits upon arrival. Back to my original point Border Force must realise these people are not tourists, but I guess they've been told to look the other way and let them in.

I signed up as a deliveroo and uber driver in the leafy subburbs of Ferndown. Pay was not bad for a few hours after work but the constant abuse from other drivers who are foreign that continuously tell you that you shouldn't be doing that work as you're English and earn enough already is what made me stop.

Uber are 100% complicit in this behaviour, I’ve had completely different people deliver my food even of the opposite sex to who they’re supposed to be, reported it to uber and their answer to this is riders or partners as they like to call them and they said they’re allowed to get other partners to complete the work that they can’t do but these people never show any identification and why don’t uber have a system where if their staff are swapped out that they inform the customer of who is coming to their property and get them to show matching identification

The goverment don't know what deportation means, it's all about accomodation.

In Norwich the majority of food delivery drivers are sub-saharan Africans with some Indian sub continent. They hang around in large groups near The Forum/library on Theatre Street. I do wonder how many are legal? Or from the migrant hotels.

Especially as most people don't consider the health and hygiene risk of someone who isn't here legally, is probably sleeping rough in squalid conditions, poor hygiene or health and is working next to food all day whether sick or not and is constantly tempted to dip their hands into the food and help themselves or take a sip of drink and no one would know, I doubt they are taking lunch breaks so they must be eating on the job. Just what else are you getting with your delivery and it you did get something unexpected you have no way of proving it.

Is time we had a conversation about mass, rapid repatriation. The vast majority arrived in the last 10-20 years. There is still the possibility to turn it around.

@@joelc9439 Started to notice this back in 80's, illegal hire cars restaurant waiters etc, it was smaller scale but has grown into a culture and now so easily communicated via the smartphone, hence they come.

A lady that lives in my building had to take a second job because one of these migrants got her 14 year old daughter pregnant (he's 29, TWENTY. NINE. and said he was 19). he now lives with them and barely knows any English. She tried to get him a job, but he seems to selectively understand the English that he wants to understand when the talk of job hunting comes up. He just shakes his head and says "no" with a confused look on his face. It's absolutely wild to think I actually voted for @dams, only to see that this is what he's done to this city.

I have stopped having food delivered, all the last delivery guy(person) could say was the price and count my money QUICkLY to make sure it was enough, change forget it, he just ran up the drive, into the car and gone. When i complained i was informed we (the take away provider) had received the correct remittance and nothing could be done.

We don't know who they are or what they have done in the past. It's extremely dangerous for them to be knocking on random people's doors especially where children, single women and vulnerable people live

They will not be allowed to land the following time, and will be immediately sent back. By arranging the boats for them, those who are already within the nation should also be expelled. Giving them food and water upon arrival and sending them back by the same boats with the warning after a short period of rest is the best and most efficient solution to address the illegal immigration boat situation.

They get to find out our addresses and who lives there.

Its the potential fingers in the food when they might be feeling hungry after doing all those hours and don't want to pay for their own food that puts me off completely. I cant guarantee this isn't happening and from the accommodation I see these people live in, I am not taking the risk.

The question is where they got money for a phone and transport for the job

If any company hire's them, just simply shut the business down immediately minimum for 12 months and fine the company

They way they drive motorbike and how they cycle is shocking.

Pretty unsafe if u ask me having them here in general if they decide to stab u or rob you how are the police meant to find a person who’s not meant to be in country with no id or identity.

Pure theatrics. I watched how councils allowed Asian migrants to take over the Taxi trade in the North of England, facilitating them at every turn whilst using the full force of the law to strangle indigenous taxi drivers out of the market . Seems they’re not all doctors and rocket scientist eh? This has been going on for forty years.

How did the council use the law to push out white taxi drivers? It seems any time there is a level playing field whites cannot compete with Asians, and then moan about unfair practices Asians have established themselves in all these businesses against the odds, not cause they've been facilitated by the authorities. Whites simply don't have the work ethic to compete, they want too many days off and too many tea breaks, and too much piss ups at weekend to be productive.

I worked at Disney World. They hire people who can't speak English. Many a time a guest would cone up to me and ask " Do you speak English?" I answer yes and they say "Thank God!"

We got loads of delivery mopeds and car washes in a small town that were not there a decade ago

They are everywhere even in small villages one stole shopping in my local Asda yesterday apparently it’s happening a lot,

I thought there were already laws covering the culpability of employers hiring illegal immigrants. In 2008/2009 Baroness Scotland was fined for employing a cleaner who was an illegal immigrant. She had not kept copies of relevant documents to check her employee's immigration status and could therefore not establish a statutory defence. The rules were established when Scotland was a Home Office minister. So rules are already in place, let's see some some of these high profile, fast food delivery companies brought to book, “pour encourager les autres.”

And this is our country!! How very sad and sick our politicians are nothing but, a joke!!

This has been going on for years especially in our local takeaways and restaurants. Strangely those who fight to help these migrants actually ignore the fact that they live in three bedroomed houses with 20 odd others earning 5 pound a day. Now thats cruel

Imagine ordering food from these companies, can you be sure these illegullz who are very low paid, working all the hours wont be tempted to dip their fingers in your takeaway if they are peckish or a bit skint after burning around all day in all weathers, can you guarantee they aren't carrying a disease or even taking a shower or washing hands after getting out of a damp filthy shed at the back of a scumlords back garden? That's why I wont order with these companies. No taxes being paid either, none of this benefits us legitimate workers whatsoever who do pay taxes and are competing in the workplace.

Any one employing them should be jailed

If this is true the firms that are using these things should be closed down.

Always reactive never pro active. The resources we use for this channel crossing migrant problem must be horrendous. The staff taken from hospitals to deal with migrants, the police, the cost of interpreters is often overlooked. We mainly get told about the accommodation costs . However it would melt your brain if we knew the real cost. Imagine if we could spend that on the issues our indigenous citizens need. Care for the elderly, social care for abused and neglected children. To name just two things.

Government killing High Street Shops, promoting Ultra Processed Food and people having to buy oneline from Amazon etc. PATHETIC.
