Hey everyone! I had to re-upload this video because of an issue in my previous upload, apologies to those who were there early for the confusion! Hopefully you can watch this one in HD now :D PS: there is no background music in this video, hopefully it's not too weird! There were just too many instances where I was speaking very quietly lol so treat it more like an ASMR video, or feel free to enjoy your own music in the background! :)

Great job as always, Chris. I'm actually really inspired by your painterly approach to figures and am going to practies in this method today. I think enough people do portraits that figure tutorial and process videos are sparse so more figure out would be cool.

I like it without music - and the figure drawing wasn't at all boring! I really liked seeing how you went through a definitely ugly phase but persevered and brought the drawing back to life again. The issues you had were very much why I don't like using markers myself, so it was encouraging to see you rescue it from a stage where I'd have abandoned it.
Trust me its NOT boring, there are also so many other art youtubers who never put music or sound in their videos cause a lot of people like sitting and observing so don’t you worry! We love hearing you talk when you want to and silent when you have nothing to say, we’re incredibly entertained by just watching you draw and learning your techniques ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nooo Chris this is interesting. As someone studying figure drawing rn, seeing you post an hour long vid of you just doing the same type of drawings is really entertaining and relaxing 😂 your chill commentary is relaxing and now I have a vid we can draw together to whenever to feel like or use as a loose tutorial to help me learn shading and shape blocking in. Thanks so much! Tumble looks so pretty btw love the uv spots and the foil lettering, it's going to be perfect irl ⚜️ edit: also thanks so much for the discount code Chris, grafit studios quality is mwah and with a discount I'm more willing to take the plunge 😁
Watching this kind of studies makes me want to pick up my pencil again, lovely work!!
Hello Chris! this video is not boring at all!even if you don't say anything, it's interesting seeing the way you construct the figure and define the light and dark areas. I'd love to see more video like this. thank you!
I have been following your work since I was in high school and I love that I get a chance to see your thought process when drawing and adding your own personal style instead to your studies.
This is one of my favorite videos. Not boring at all.
I love seeing other artists' processes. Thank you for sharing this, it's really interesting :)
It’s not boring! I like watching figure drawings. I have never seen anyone else draw them. I love it sooooo much 🩵
The only part of videos I find boring is listening to someone repeatedly tell me they think their video is boring. I just want to watch someone sketch and chat about what they’re doing etc. The video is fine!!!
Oh my God I was literally drawing with you unconsciously and proud of the result :) 💘✨🤝
This was not boring at all! )-: Seeing how you sketch them was very useful for me because I tend to draw figures a little bigger than necessary.
It's not boring at all! I had a lot of fun sketching with you 😊 these types of videos really encourage me to practice, I really like them
its not boring, dw
Ight I think you’d like doing these with alcohol markers :D and they don’t pill when you saturate the paper! (There are so many great inexpensive brush markers that are alcohol based and I’m sure you’ll like them)
This whole 1 hour come to me so short because ı really enjoyed so much. Please make another videos like that in the future. Love it so much 🥰 ( thank you also for share the video 💖)
ITS NOT BORING, I love the studies 😭❤
Your channel has grown so much I am glad I hope by next year you hit 500k
Personally, I truly enjoyed this. I love watching practice works. And you're look so nicely finished, it's worth the watch. 10/10 for enjoyment 10/10 for beauty.

Look at you drawing it is like me drawing and never make all the mistakes!
Never boring to see your process!!!!
I love these videos.. I love the markers and color blocking not many artist focus blocking in shadow with color to sculpt the image
I enjoyed it. I just doodled in my own sketchbook for the duration and glanced up every now and then.
Chris this is not boring at all! Your insight while doing these is always so very helpful.
chris you have such a great effect on my own art motivation, when i see you work on your art, i just feel like immediately starting as well :) also i cant wait for the book, i preordered as soon as i could! congratulations on the success!!!
for me this is really interesting, and as an art student it also helps me a lot! i usually watch your videos while i draw so the silence doesnt bore me at all. i hope u know your art is a big inspiration for me! don't stop making this videos
This is very entertaining and makes me wish I could draw this well! The light and darks are so beautiful!
Hold on a minute there lady lol, there was not one ounce of boringness in this video it was very informative. Its always great to see how someone else sees art and how they interpret it, keep these long study videos coming!
this is in no way boring chris!! i like being able to draw along with you in these types of video and it also motivates me to draw a lot as well 🥺🥺
interesting the way you use felt pen for lighting. thank you. not boring at all !
I loved seeing how you sculpt whole figures. It was so interesting, Chris! Thank you for sharing!
This video was amazing!! Its not even a little boring...trust me.
These studies was amazing to watch, please keep doing! 🙏❤
i love your realtime drawing videos so much!!!!!!!!!
i LOVE these kinds of quiet long less-talky videos! i draw along with them and it’s so relaxing!
Not bored at all. It actually was very inspiring and I loved watching you. Please do more of these. It was also great too see you draw with tonal values, where to begin and seeing what materials you are using. This is definitely one of my favorite videos this far!!! Loved it 💜💚💜
Don’t feel obligated to talk if you don’t want to. You are amazing!
Thank you! it is very valuable to me to watch how you draw bodies! Very educational for me! love your art!!!
your video is not boring! I always enjoy to doodle myself and watch your videos. it is so relaxing
It's always fun to see your figure drawing process-I find it so unique☁️ I personally prefer the approach where I do the light gesture and build the whole pose kinda at the same time~ but it was so difficult for me to learn how to draw poses from imagination~ and than one day I watched that video of yours about how you warm up after not drawing in a while-and when i studied the drawings you did in that video I really felt something click for me with drawing from imagination-Seeing your approach made me use like observational and design skills more and it's sooo useful❤
Definitely not boring :-) Love videos like this because they inspire me to brush up on my basics and try out some of those more unconventional poses!
I took this chance to pretend like I was back in art school doing gesture drawings with friends. Thanks for this. I loved drawing along with you.
You and your videos are the best! You have taught me a lot! Thank you so much! 🌈
It's definetly not boring, i love different dynamic poses! Potraits are cool too but maybe they should also have some of that dynamic stuff that the poses have, like different head poses, angles, perspective, value And drawings same things over like legs is not repetitive, it's always good for to understand difficult poses where the person changes how their other leg moves.. differences
So beautiful Chris. I love your art process. I'm so excited to get my hands on "Tumble"! ❤️
This is one of my fave type of video so this is def. not boring in my view. Also, nice art.
such an awesome video and not at all boring! I loved it!!
I really enjoyed watching this video because it's on the calmer side. If someone would like to listen to music they can just turn on their own without muting you, so don't worry about that ^^ It was really interesting to see how you were starting and rendering a figure drawings. The thoughts and doubts you voiced also were very relatable to me. It's weirdly encouraging to see professional artists struggle as well... Hope you have a great week ^^
watching you draw and talk about your process is really interesting and helpful I love the way you use colors and contrast I wish I could've used them that good haha watching your studies and drawing along is kind of helping me get to understand these things better Thank you !
I actually love the commentary and how much you bring your audience with your process. It helped me a bunch every time I get to listen to your thought process/decision making process to be more aware about my shape decisions when I draw and paint. 💖Plus plus really to have fun while doing it 🤗
I enjoyed this video. I like your art, period. Very interesting and beautiful 😊❤
i love watching you making decission thoughout the process, its so fun thinking "oh i would do this now" and then watching you doing it or actually doing the contrary, it takes me out the box a bit

oh that's an interesting perspective, thanks for sharing! :)
I love these longer videos! I only do short ones and they take quite a bit edit so I appreciate the time it takes for you create such long content😊
It’s not boring at all!!! I love it!!! Please have more like this 🤩🤩 Can you please explain how to recognize and avoid the camera perspective when we use photo references? For the last pose, I prefer your back legs than the photo.
Love the way you always use such random colours and media, but of course it always looks amazing!
Congrats on your book 🎉 love your videos so inspiring 🤩
miss chris!!! this was a wonderful video, thank you for making it 😭😭!!!! i enjoy your process and insight so so much. you are both relatable and inspirational as an artist💛 this is truly so lovely. a very much not-boring and marvelous upload from you as always!! thank you for sharing with us. p.s. i cannot wait for my copy of Tumble, it looks stunning im so excited!!!!
This is amazing. I really like your art and voice.
I love your draws 💛💛💛
I loved this. It really just felt like sitting down to draw with a friend. Which, honestly I needed a lot. I pulled out a little sketchbook gouache painting I hadn't finished and finished and then did a figure study! Thanks! I would love more videos like this. :)
i like this type of video especially from you because it makes drawing seem less daunting and you have a way of making it seem very simple and achievable but still detailed and capturing the essence of whatever it is you're drawing
Don’t be afraid, it wasn’t boring at all, it was very interesting. You are a magician ! It is so interesting to see the character coming to life and the way you do it. A real pleasure to me 🤩 Kiss from Switzerland 😍

Yes I was waiting on the reupload!!!!! So happy to watch u Chris!!! ^_^
Just free handed sketched some outlines with a 10cm diameter pentip marker and making it looking drop dead gorgeous in the end...I love it!
I really like these videos! I usually put them on while I draw so it feels like I'm drawing alongside you. Just chill vibes~
I will gladly listen to/ watch this rather than a podcast/music while drawing ❤
Loved this!

Well done!
i absolutely adore your videos! my only problem is that i'm 19 and have only been doing art at all for the past year, and yet i always beat myself up when my stuff doesn't look as good as yours. will work on that
I enjoyed it!!
I liked the second pose the most! She is so dynamic and interesting
I actually started drawing the poses with you and learned a bunch from observing your method
Had to drop a like as soon as I saw that Hahnemule sketchbook 10/10 sketchbook it’s one of my favorites next to the Moleskine watercolor book!
