He seems like a chill guy. I hope he gets some playing time this year. He looked good last year, just needed to bulk up which looks like he did! Bright future, hope Lakers keep him.

I like that Colin is talking about working on both his 3 point/outside shot and also that he is in the gym working on bulking up both his upper and lower body. I feel like because of the fact that Colin can handle the ball and pass well, if he could remove his short coming from his game. Those shortcomings of course being his thin body frame and lack of outside shooting ability. If he could and is actually bulking up and getting proficient enough at his 3 ball to where he is a threat from outside as well as being a defensive threat inside. That's the turning point when he will become an asset and very sought after athlete not only for the Lakers but in the N.B.A in general as well. Having the benefit of being able to watch and talk to a defensive and offensive great/nightmare like A.D definitely helps but is not enough to place you in the upper echelon alone! Let's be honest, Colin definitely sounds like he has the intelligence to become a great Center. And we know that he has the spirit and the drive to be a valuable teammate. What he is lacking is bulk as well as outside shooting ability! If he can negate those problems then he can kiss Summer as well as the G League goodbye and focus on getting nightly minutes and being an impactful part of the Purple and Gold. As well as get paid a heck of a lot more money in general.

Good interview. I feel a little better about the prospect of Jaxson Hayes going to free agency and having the Lakers take a big in the draft like Edey or Daron Holmes as a big off the bench or starter with AD. We need a big body to give some resistance to the Joker and make him work on D and a big who can shoot the 3 as another look.

Rooting for Castleton! Hoping he averages at least 15 minutes a game this season at the 5 and maybe he plays a little at the 4 position. Championship basketball for the Lakers has historically been when the Lakers have a "big" team that has numerous key players in that 6'10 to 7'2 range.

Bigs should be focusing more on their post moves, inside scoring and rebounding than 3 pt shooting - if you're 7 ft+, your advantages are inside scoring, rebounding and blocking shots, not 3 pt shooting. It's a waste of height to have 7 footers standing around the 3 pt line instead of scoring and rebounding inside.

Actually, I would look into the prospect of trying him out at the 4 and maybe seeing if he can be a backup to the Brow at that position. You can give him spot duty at the 5, but he might be a much better 4.

The Lakers draft ability is extremely overrated. They draft horrible. Either the players are flops or injury prone. With the exception of BI. JHS draft is so frustrating.

HEART IS BALLING WITH NYK ALONG WITH RUSSEL. LAKERS DRAFT WELL: AND G-LEAGUE CARUSO AND REEVES. THEY GAVE AWAY KCP WHO WAS MAJOR WITH DENVER.

I'm a LAKERS FAN for life. But, I'm very disappointed in developing players and then getting rid of them so that other teams greatly benefit from them. Look at all the players who are now on other teams who have been killing it. I hope they stop this crap and give them a chance to help the organization. 💯😁😁

Shouldn’t be counting on Lebron and AD only. After watching these playoffs/finals it takes a complete team to win a championship. Lebron and AD did their part. Lebron avg 27pts and AD 25pts. That’s good enough to compete in the postseason with a team to back them up. Mindset must change. 2 players not winning a title. Lakers need a complete roster overhaul keeping Vando and Christie.

been a life long lakers fan as in seen wilt and jerry play llive when my father used to take me to games. been so disappointed with lakers for quite some time now. dont know why we havnt moved off of james. should of traded him last year when we could of gotten something for him. we will not win another championship with him on team. if he really wanted to win, maybe he wouldnt have to take max every year and leave some money for possible free agents. he could learn something from tom brady. the actual goat. wish j buss would sell team. new front office, new mgt.we are a joke. pelinka needs to remove his head from multiple asses. are we really entertaining bronny? are you kidding? this is disgusting!! oh, almost forgot. trey young? mr. no defense. no ty.
