Sting is a generational musical talent. Hes won 17 Grammys and countless other awards with and without The Police. He reminds me of Eric Clapton. An artist who didn't like to be limited by one band.

For all Sting’s success, it is comforting to hear he believes Trudie is his rock giving him a home base we all need.

He never topped the police, their guitarist was a music theory expert. He just hated fighting and having to acquiesce

True! He got pretty close on Ten Summoners Tales. Two songs on it could have been HUGE Police hits: Seven Days and If I Ever Lose My Faith

The man won 17 Grammys and countless other awards. He simply keeps evolving as a singer/ song writer. Copeland and Summers are great musicians, it was Stings singing/ song writing that made The Police great.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe his bandmates from the police didn't get along with him , I believe it too. I know he has talent, but I say he is crumpy sort of a person.

He has so many personalities, I doubt he believes a word. Read Broken Music - it feels like 5 writers worked on it. He has tried so hard to be all things to all people. That is so weird.
