Seriously I was thinking the same thing, I especially noticed how he was gazing down. He carries himself like a normal person would, he's nothing like the show boat like Connie who is a UFC promoter not a UFC fighter. And the fact hes still in the top 15 is unbelievable!! he fought Cowboy (TOTALLY rigged) in 165, he hasn't won a fight in the light weight division since 2016, SIX YEARS AGO, and he's still ranked, what a joke the UFC is.

Great players often fail at coaching. one reason being that they lack patience. They subconsciously expect things to be as easy for lesser players as it was for them. They either go too hard on them or lose hope in them very quickly. I hope Khabib is as patient as his dad was with him.

The level of respect I have for khabib is crazy. I didn’t even really like him as a fighter. Found his grappling style kinda boring but in terms of dominance I doubt he will ever be beaten. After retirement he’s stayed in the game and is using his experience to create new champions. Proper legend

It is not so much avoiding eye contact with the interviewer. Even if she is covered up and wore a hijab...Technically, Khabib should lower his line of sight to look at the ground..since let's face it..the lady is lovely. And that is a possible source of temptation for Muslim men like Khabib....who should fight an inner battle within himself to continue to respect the modesty of the lady.... But some Muslim men do not want to practice that and instead forces Muslim women to don the burkha. Source..my paternal Grandfather explain it to me. Not a madrasah educated. As a fellow muslim, it's amazing how he maintained his gaze down as how a muslim man should behave in respect to women's body. Different people might have different belief in this matter but we respect his way of behaving. The great indeed.

Khabib didn’t miss person he Is returning favor to all his people including his opponents and even if for conor , we know khabib don’t like him but didn’t stop him from saying the truth that the fight with him was the biggest fight that’s kind of appreciative, also said coach Javier deserve the hall of fame , next is his father after making all his students championships, that will make him the greatest coach ever In the history of martial arts

As always, Khabib's an exemplar of humility & honesty. Great interview & kudos to the interviewer. Really glad he addressed the topic of Charles Oliveira, explaining how the MMA media is constantly attempting to create an artificial animosity between himself/his team & him (Oliveira), when no such enmity actually exists. In fact, he goes on to commend Oliveira for the very achievement of becoming a UFC champ, particularly mentioning how he did this whilst hailing from some of the most impoverished lodgings imaginable. Even goes on to further express his admiration for Charles constantly coming back from adversity. It's just seemed so odd to me that a ~small but vocal minority of Oliveira fans intertwine their praise for him with slanderous malign against Khabib/his team, as if praising the two can't co-exist?? That lack of sportsmanship is specifically what Khabib & Charles are both against. I'm sure these guys would be absolute bros if they had more opportunities meet. Lots of mutual respect, that's for sure.

Never once seen him wearing luxury clothes or driving expensive cars/jet/yacht or him brag about how much money he has even though being a owner of a fighting organization. Instead he spend the money on his people and take care of his village, i even remember his first trip after beating Conor was to help people in Nigeria by building wells to have access to clean water compared to Adesanya flexing his belt when it doesn't bring any benefit to his own people in Nigeria. Very humble and down to earth man.
